Silicon Valley refers to the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California encompassing San Jose, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Mountain View, Palo Alto and surrounding areas. The region is home to many of the world's largest technology corporations. The term originally referred to the region's large number of silicon chip innovators and manufacturers, but eventually came to refer to all the high-tech businesses in the area (Apple, IBM, HP, Google, Facebook, Ebay, etc.). Because of the diverse array of immigrants from around the world who live and work in Silicon Valley, there is a variety of different cuisines from Halal Chinese, Indo-Pakistani, Middle-Eastern, Persian, African as well as Halal American Food - you can find whatever you crave here in the Bay Area!
