★★★★★ This is my favorite place to buy halal meat and take some food from small kitchen inside the store. I have always been treated with great respect and taken care immediately on concerns. Posted on June 20, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Careful of the Buffet. My wife took her Auntie there for lunch. Her Auntie is elderly and diabetic, so she took only a small portion. Still she couldn't finish her small lunch.
My wife asked for a box so Auntie could take her left-overs to finish later.
The owner brought the box, but he then without letting her know, he charged her card for a full additional service...$30.00 for two small portions lunches including Auntie's left-overs that would otherwise have been wasted.
Once my wife realized that he would not budge, she went to the buffet to take the full 3rd portion she had paid for.
The owner objected and wanted to select from the Buffet himself. Of course she refused despite his insistence.
It was definitely not a pleasant lunch out for Auntie or my wife.
When
Definitely not a place either of the women will want to visit again! Posted on April 24, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Decent place to buy Zabihah meat. Posted on December 25, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ Their food is descent but BEWARE!!! of the Buffet. Once they run out of the food they will not put new food. They close very early around 8/9 dinner time. If you show up late i.e 6:30/7:00 P.M. you will only get left over’s. When we asked for menu, we were told the kitchen is closed. I ate from the left over’s as I was hungry while my friend refused to eat and complained to the owner. To make matter worse, the owner charged us for 2 Buffet and argued when we refuse to pay since my friend wanted no part of that Buffet!!! Very Rude and Poor service. Don't go there. ★★★★★ Food quality and prices are great. It is located inside a Zabihah store so its your one stop shop. Parking is limited but it's still a place worth going to. Posted on May 3, 2009 |

★★★★☆ The Halal Market is now located in the same mall and is called Halal Restaurant. The ambience is much better and the lunch buffet ($6.99) offers a number of good dishes. Posted on August 4, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ I've bought chicken from them a number of times as they are just a block from my home. However, none of the butchers know how to cut chicken properly. My wife yells at me anytime I get chicken from them and we invite guests. However, I never tried beef from them so I don't know about that. Also, as some other customers pointed out as well, they are extremely unclean. Now I rather drive a few miles and get better meat from elsewhere. Posted on June 5, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ As far as pakistani food is concern it is very very poor restaurant. They need some cook or chef to make there food. Only and only biryani is ok coz it is cheap Posted on March 1, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ I wrote th 7/24/00 review. The staff are highly friendly. However, I stopped going because the EXTREME unsanitary conditions. Meat was kept in a tepid fridge unit with flies always in the case on the meat. knives/tables are dirty. Meat is rarely fresh. OFten had the experience of having the meat I bought the night before being spoiled the next day. Posted on December 15, 2003 |

★☆☆☆☆ I used to buy my meat here, but I can't any longer. They're really not very sanitary, unfortunately. I'm not one to complain, because they're nice people, but I've had too many bad experiences. I bought chicken once, and by the time I got home (30 minutes) the chicken was bad. I called and they tried to blame it on me! I gave them a second chance, months after. I went in and saw them drop liver onto the floor then bag it for a customer. I'm not very secure about how clean this place is. They cut meat with gloves, then ring you up, with the same gloves. I can't go here anymore. I just advise anyone that goes to watch the butchers carefully when they prepare your meat! Posted on October 6, 2003 |

★★★★☆ "It's a middle eastern butcher and grocery shop. There are some spices and tea which have interesting choices. As for the meat, my only complaint was that they don't sell chicken breasts with bone so I had to buy a whole chicken just to get that. Other than that, the service is fast and very friendly. They also sell processed meat like sausages, and salami. And have mediterannean cheeses for your palate." Posted on January 17, 2003 |

★★★☆☆ Their service is not the best but the meat seems fresh. I'll only go back if other places don't have the selection I'm looking for. Posted on January 17, 2003 |

★★★★☆ "This is a Sandwitches deli with a Halal Meat Store. The guy BBQs the sandwitch meat right on the side-walk, with a lot of nice smelling smoke ;-) All their items are under $5. Normally they have chicken & Beef wraps. If requested they can also do a Turkey sandwitch. Whenever we are in Santa Clara, it's never a question of where to go for quick sandwitches. ★★★★★ This is one of the very best meat places around the bay area. The meat is always fresh, cut the way you want it and the folks are real nice. Off late, I have been calling ahead so that the meat is cut and ready when I get there. The kababs are, obviously, of the mid-eastern kind rather than the Indian/Pakistani variety. ★★★★☆ Iraqi place that serves good kabobs. Kind of like Rose Market but cheaper and better. Posted on March 25, 2002 |

★★★★★ "Best Islamic Butcher I've ever chanced upon state side. Fresh meats (beef, chicken, goat, sometimes lamb) including special cuts (tongue, brain, stomach, liver, etc.), as well as a variety of grocery items including spices, sweets, dairy, Middle Eastern cooking pots, books and limited number of hijab and prayer rugs. Also prepare take-out kuftas & kebabs." Posted on July 24, 2000 |
