★★★☆☆ CAUTION!! I went to Ike’s because of this app. The first time I just ordered a halal sandwich and didn’t pay attention to how they are preparing it as I was extremely tired from my journey and got myself to the nearest place Zabihah suggested. The sandwich tasted great, people in the shop were very nice. So the next time, I walked here during lunch break at my job, so that I can eat halal, and this time I watched as they made my sandwich. People making the sandwiches use the same gloves when they handle non-halal meat and halal sandwiches, they cut them with the same knife, they go into the same oven... I was very sad to see that because the first time, it was one of the best sandwiches I ate in my life and I would have liked to come back. But I do not think the sandwiches here are halal just because the chicken is halal. We might try talking to the owner, as he is sensitive enough to carry halal chicken, maybe he can make some arrangements. Posted on June 8, 2019
