★★★★★ Wow! Delicious brisket, burgers and sides. Fast, friendly service. The host and the servers were all very out front and proud about the fact that they have all halal meats and they serve no pork(so no chance of cross contamination). Halal certification is visible and available for review. The beef is certified by Greater Omaha, the lamb is Spring Lamb New Zealand lamb, and the chicken is hand slaughtered from Tahir.(All meats supplied by Halal Meats Distribution, inc.) we were in Anaheim to visit Disneyland, if you are staying nearby it’s an 8-10 minute drive. We arrived in Milan via train and found this restaurant in easy walking distance from the train station. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Palau rice and we were not disappointed. The flavor was excellent without being too oily. A few days later we were in Milan again after a stay in Como and we visited again. The second time was just as good as the first time. This time we had Chicken Madras and the same rice dish. The portion size was perfect for two hungry travelers. We will visit this restaurant each time we have a stop at the Central train station in Milan. Also the food is halal as posted outside the restaurant. Posted on March 24, 2022 | |

★★★★★ My husband and I went here for the Halal Restaurant Week special. We both ordered the Caesar salad, the 8 oz ribeye with a side of broccoli rabe, the chocolate souffle a la mode, and virgin strawberry mojitos. The meal came with a complimentary bread basket. Our meals were excellent all around. Our steaks were beautifully cooked and rich without being overwhelming. The broccoli rabe was garlicky and a perfect accompaniment to the steak. The Caesar salads were a bit lackluster, mostly due to the croutons being quite salty. The souffle (really more like a chocolate lava cake) was the perfect portion size and a delicious end to the meal. The mojitos were refreshing, albeit pricey ($10 each!). Not including the drinks, the whole meal was $50 each during the Restaurant Week promo, which is a truly amazing deal for the quality of the food we got.rnrnThe restaurant itself is a nice space, although the lights were a bit too dim. It was upscale without being stuffy (we wore business casual clothing and didn\'t feel underdressed, and there were other diners who were dressed even more casually). There is a special section on the menu that lists the available halal steaks, and there are seafood and vegetarian options. Be warned that there is a large, prominent bar in the front of the restaurant. For drinks, we asked if there were any non-alcoholic options and the server gave us several options beyond the standard water/soda. rnrnWe would come here again, but outside of Halal Restaurant Week the menu items are expensive, so this is definitely more of a special occasion spot. Posted on March 22, 2022 ★★★ More of a place, teenagers, men from work hang out at for lunch, dinner or a late night meal.
Not really a typical Tex Mex or American fast food, more the ever so popular French style wrap sandwich in tortilla bread which is also called Tacos found both in France and across the border in the French speaking part of Switzerland.
All menu is halal, no alcohol sold.
The only down side is that menu for small kids is limited.
Getting Fries, drinks or any other side dishes brings up the price.
Some branches better than others. I found the one close to the HUG hospital had a better lay out. Posted on March 17, 2022 |
