★☆☆☆☆ I don't know why this restaurant is listed here.
There is nothing "zabihah" about this restaurant.
I went there and I asked the waiter if there is any dish that is halal. He said no. Kind of rudely too a little bit.
Other than that the vegetarian meal I had was good.
I am giving one star because this restaurant needs to be removed from this websitge although I would give 4 stars for the taste of the vegetarian meal.
This is zabihah.com and not vegihah.com Posted on March 23, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I went here with my coworkers, none of the meat they serve is Halal. You should take this off Zabihah. I had vegeterian there which was ok. Very noisey and crowded. Posted on August 28, 2008 |

★★★★★ This is an excellent restaurant. The food is delicious and the ambience is classy. I love it. Posted on August 6, 2004 |

★★★★☆ I've been there and the seating was nice, but it's not famil style. They said that only the items with ground lamb are halal. I'm a non-halal eater so I'm giving it a high rating. Posted on January 6, 2004 |

★★★★★ I've eaten at DishDash since they opened, probably 30-40 times. Comparing it on quality, flavor, and consistency to other restaurants in the area(American, Thai, Mexican, Indian, etc.) it is excellent. I know nothing about how accurate the dishes may be from a cultural standpoint. To me that does not matter. Posted on December 9, 2003 |

★☆☆☆☆ This is not a good place for family. Too many indecently dressed staff and guests. I do not think the food is halal either. Posted on September 28, 2003 |

★★★☆☆ I don't consider DishDash a truly halal resaurant. They serve liquor and only have one dish that's halal and that dish changes regularly. You have to ask them about which one it is. The food is good and is a good place to take non-Muslim business aquantances. But I don't think it should be considered "halal". Posted on January 31, 2003 |

★☆☆☆☆ So far, I had the worst experience in this restaurant. The food is bad and the waiter who served us was not kind to us. Even when I complained to the manager about the behaviour of the waiter, he was still smiling. I believe this resturant should be banned. Posted on August 23, 2002 |

★★★☆☆ "The atmosphere and service are good, but the food is so so. We ordered Mansaf (rice + chicken) and if you were to feed that to a cat it wouldn't have had enough.. serving of plates is not generous (at least when we went there) and the taste is so so.. could have been much better." ★★★☆☆ I don't even know why this restuarant is there on Zabihah.com. They only serve one Halal dish (I am not too sure about it) But they are straight forward on it and will tell you the only dish on the phone. They have a variety of vegetarian and meat dishes (not zabihah) and serve liquor. I think it is a Lebanese-owned restaurant. The ambience and area is good but I would only recommend it for people who have to take a non-muslim team to lunch. I had Fish (Halibut) there. The dish was expense and the serving was small. It was pretty crowded on lunch time during a weekday. Posted on June 30, 2002 |

★★★★☆ "This is a follow-up to my last review. I finally got to taste their food at a company-catered event. In all fairness I must say it was all very good, standard Mediterranean fare. They offer a surprisingly large selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes, and they do offer a couple of halal dishes by request (you must speak to the manger), so if that's acceptable to you then I suggest you try it. The variety of food available makes this an ideal place to take a group with many different dietary requirements. So if the previous review sounded a little snarky it was not meant to be - we should patronize these restaurants that are one foot in & one foot out, and let them know that there is a demand for halal entrees so that they will, in turn, apply pressure to the local halal meat providers and get them to clean up their act and provide a quality product." ★★★☆☆ "I contacted the manager today and he says that there are only 1 or 2 halal entrees on the menu. Special accomodation can be arranged for a large catered event but they don't normally provide halal dishes as he says the ""quality and cost"" of the meat is unacceptable." Posted on March 1, 2002 |

★★★★★ Although, the portion of the food is small and it is a bit pricey, the quality of the food can not be criticized. It was my first time visiting Dishdash and it was by coincedence I was in the area, however I was extremely happy with the quality of the service and the food. Posted on January 22, 2002 |

★★☆☆☆ The service was very good, however, the two times I went to Dishdash, I got very sick later in the evening. I ate the smae thing twice - a vegetarian combination plate, and both times, I felt terrible afterwards. Learned my lesson. They have great Turkish coffee, and the falafel is good, but beware of some of the veggie pastes. Posted on August 31, 2001 |

★★★★★ There is nothing wrong with Dishdash. The food, ambiance, service, wines, after-dinner selection... just great. Posted on July 9, 2001 |

★★★☆☆ "Pleasant surroundings, nice food, especially the starters, however, the portions of food were a little on the smallish side. Only the beef is halal, and alchohol is served at the restaurant!! Service is ok, nothing great, and the dessert was hillaroiusly small, mini bite-sized bukhlava- we couldn't stop laughing all evening. A little on the pricey side too." Posted on July 7, 2001 |
