★★★★☆ This place only has a partial halal menu : The Gyros and Kofta Sandwich (according to the gentleman at the register). I would also double check with them when ordering. Aside from that, they also have a Falafel sandwich which is excellent. It is well prepared and tastes really good. I also agree with the comment from amuhajor about the Banana Shake---it was nice. Although the seating is more for outdoors there is a little room inside for seating. Also remember, they only take cash. Prices are not bad and service is swift. Check it out, if you haven't already. ★★★★★ This place does have the BEST falafel's in all of California perhaps; I have eaten there for a long time (10+ years). However, please note that the falafel's are fried in the same oil they fry chicken corn dogs in. The owners say those corn dogs are Kosher. I have not eaten the falafel's there becauase of this but I tried the gyros and they were not that bad. (don't make this a discussion about kosher being halal or not halal - each person should make that decision on their own or ask your sheikh.) Posted on January 8, 2006
