Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. From corporate headquarters: 'The chicken at all GYG restaurants is Halal certified - a copy of the certificate can be emailed upon request. We do have Halal certified chicken across all our locations. We do however work with other non-Halal meats and we do not follow halal processes in the kitchen.'
pathetic customer service, absolutely shameful portion sizes. i am a regular gyg enjoyer. my regular order is a chicken caesar salad with extra chicken. this is not a one off offence at this store, i have ordered countless times and had the same result, a box of lettuce with a few scraps of chicken at best. a handful of times, the issue has been rectified, however i am sick of this ongoing scam? seriously what am i paying for? i was told the portion size is weighed, i would like to know what the hell is being weighed because it sure aint the chicken.
