Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. From corporate headquarters: 'The chicken at all GYG restaurants is Halal certified - a copy of the certificate can be emailed upon request. We do have Halal certified chicken across all our locations. We do however work with other non-Halal meats and we do not follow halal processes in the kitchen.'
I have been their customer for many years. They have been usually good. Today, they messed up in so many ways. Date: 03-July’26 Order number: 2127 Order: Burrito bowl with veggies. Issues: 1. Piece of meat 2. Avocado peel 3. Raw avocado slice 4. Mushroom stem Signs of zero care for customers and ignorance. I’m not sure if they even care about customers anymore considering all of this happened in one order.
