As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
First time in my life, I had a chicken shawarma without chicken. I asked the attendant where the chicken is, and he said, “It will come after some bites.” I kept wondering throughout the meal when the chicken would actually come—but it never did. Pathetic service, pathetic shawarma, and a complete waste of money.
