Love Zaki Broast and Grill. Gives us variety in this shawarma or nothing town. Diverse menu, so if you\'re feeling for American cuisine or cultural food, both are there. Zaki Delivery is very slow though and prices are okay.
excellent humberger
Went there with the family on Eid, and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere was very nice. I ordered the Supreme Steak Sandwich combo, and it sure lived up to it's name. The only problem is the preparation time. It's anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the type and volume of order.
Ordered the kabob and chicken dishes. I have been to this place couple of times and the food is always delicious. I find their dishes to be very fresh and tasty. Expect wait time, the place is busy (15-20 min.). I wish the restaurent would have more seatings.
kind of like the other kabob places in Ottawa - but I really like this place because of the breasted chicken and the sandwiches. the Philly steak is amazing!
Hands down the best halal fast food joint in Ottawa. I've eaten here on more than a dozen occasions in the last few months and have never been disappointed. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu and every dish is mouth watering. The burgers are excellent, the chicken is out if this world, the fresh naan bread is really nice!.. The only thing I would complain is the seasoning they put on their fries; it's too salty and doesn't taste that great, I have to specifically ask them not to put anything on my fries.
For Ottawa vthis is pretty good masha Allah but sorry that is not saying much. I think they use MSG. We really like their fries.
Wow what a place, I haven't had fried chicken that tender and moist, and delicious in.... well a very very long time. KFC's Dry expensive chicken doesn't even compare not even on the same scope. They even provided a Prayer mat when Magrib came. We had the Family meal with 12 pieces of the most tender juicy, and tasty chicken with 2 large seasoned fries, Hot rolls, hot sauce and garlic sauce, with a 2 liter of your favorite poison.( I don't drink Pop personally) Our kid who loves Kafta Kabobs had one of their Shammy Kabobs and it was delicious and fresh tasting as well. Highly recommend this place Clean and tasty. A real Halal treat. well worth waiting for your made to order meal
Food was average to good. Nothing extraordinary. There are better places in town. I wish I could write the name of the better competitor. Prices are on the higher side as well. Waiting is about 15-20 minutes.
hi, i visited today on 05 jan 2012 in evening on my friend recommendation, food was good but worst thing is i later realize order was not complete. when i visit my friend he told me there is Nan also served with chicken breast plate and dinner role with sandwich combo. i didn't get any thing. it is their duty to serve full order to new customers who don't know. so be careful when u go read menu and ask them to give u complete order.
Reminds me of AL-Baik Albaik is a famous broasted chicken restaurant in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia being most of my life living in Jeddah I know a great broasted chicken from normal ones .... this one is indeed great. They have the same style of Al-Baik (ie, the garlic sauce, the bun and the fires) I tried the chicken strips too, it is great as well. good price the waiting is not so good though. (10-20 minutes) seriously google AL-Baik it is world famous, even at CNN they reported it among 8 local fast food chains the the world deserve them :) I live downtown Ottawa, and I would be a regular customer if they just were a bit closer to me
Friendly staff. We tried their broast chicken, cheese burgers, and shami kabob. All were excellent. They even served extra pickles separately coz my son loves pickles! Definitely will go back inshallah and try their other menu. If you like middle eastern broast chicken, this is very close. No comparison with KFC.
If you like fried chicken, then this is definitely a place to try out. It is different then KFC and more of a middle eastern flavor of broasted chicken. Lots of fries with the order, friendly staff, convenient location with parking. With four pieces of chicken you get half chicken and not only legs and thighs.
