I am writing this because I am deeply concerned by the standards at this establishment. Having visited similar local shops in the past, I expected a level of professional care that is simply missing here. Firstly, I have serious concerns regarding the lack of separate food preparation areas, specifically the handling of halal and non-halal products in the same space. Without clear, visible, and dedicated infrastructure, the risk of cross-contamination is unacceptable. Secondly, the value for money is non-existent. Charging premium prices—such as £8 for simple sausage, chips, and beans—is unjustifiable, especially when the quality of the food and the level of service do not match those prices. A business needs to get the basics right before charging these rates. Based on my observations and the poor standards on display, I will not be returning.

Finally a cafe, that serves halal breakfast to go. As a tradesman I always struggle to find a place that serves halal breakfast which is cooked on different appliances to there's no spread of contamination. The owner is absolutely lovely, welcoming and the staff are great. Definitely a 10/10 for me.
