1. Lamb chops were very hard. 2. Specifically asked to make sure lahore special chicken masala was fresh, as usually chicken is so soft that it falls of the bone. It was exactly that, falling off the bone. This is usual when the dishes are fully cooked and then rewarmed many times. 3. Masala fish: this was regular fried fish (not the masala fish the waiter claimed) with no real spice outside or inside. Fish was regular fried fish you can find anywhere. 4. Shami burger had chapli Kabab. No where it was shami. I have encounters these above problems at several restaurants so I always make sure I ask them before ordering. Yet it was the same. As usual, when I spoke with both the waiter and the manager, they actually started telling me that everything was right. But it is rare for a Desi restaurant to accept any criticism. Perhaps we do it too much. But 5/5 for decor: very well maintained and upscale looking sitting area.
Ok food too expensive for what they give you
Good food; good prices; poor customer service. I still give it 4 out of 5 as you just know what you are going to get when you walk in hence the indifferent attitude of the waiters should not be a surprise. This is not a high classy place. The price and taste of the food makes up for it.
Used to go here alot, for grills and tikka's, but recently there have been many more places opend around the ladypool road area that offer better food. ras malai and tea are very good here. staff are always helpful and freindly
It's nice, good for family
