A somewhat generic Ladypool Road restaurant. Does nothing to stand out; it is neither excellent nor is it horrendous - just somewhere in between. The food is fine; prices are fine; service is fine; decor is fine. And there we have the problem - It really is nothing special. There is nothing about the place that would draw me back. I am decidedly neutral about this restaurant. There are better places to eat in the vicinity, all of which have something going for them to make them stand out.
Food was good but nothing worth writing home about, then again I'm not a great fan of Indian food
Good food. very bad service.
This is an excellent place to eat. I eat here all the time. The menu, food and prices are excellent. The decor is simple but the food is really very good. It gets very busy on Thu/fri/sat night so avoid it then as the service gets very bad, along with long waits. Service generally is OK but could be a lot better.
Found out I like Balti style Indian cuisine. The naan bread is huge. I knew something was up when the waiter asked, "what size naan, small or medium?" Same types of flavor as what I'm used to, but it seems more straightforward. I enjoyed that about it. Would definitely come back to try another dish and ask them to turn the heat up.
