Well looking bk 10 years ago lahores food used to be delicious especially de masala fish.. Still ok now but not the same very good seating area but not very nice service too slow sometimes they don't remember who ordered n who hasn't !
Food was ok. Arrived quickly. Good portions. Good seating area. Radio is loud. Free water given. Comfy chairs.
Good value for money. Service is really really bad though, but that is fairly typical of a place that is run by asians and designed for asians - asian muslims are always horrible to our own people it seems, but bend over backwards when non muslims need to be served. Anyway, if you can get over the (lack of) service, this place is actually pretty good in terms of the food and value for money. Above average.
nice ras malai! chicken steaks are very good too. this place is packed on weekends. they have a sweet shop opposite, serving mithais and ice creams.
We had a disappointing dining experience at Lahore Karahi. We ordered three platters along with an extra chicken steak and chips, but the food arrived at different times instead of together. The platters were brought out first, while the chicken steak arrived around 25 minutes later — and only after we reminded the staff that it was still missing. We also had to remind the staff multiple times about four naans that hadn’t been served with our order. We ordered two jugs of orange juice and a jug of lemon soda, but the drinks didn’t arrive until we had already finished eating, despite reminding the staff more than once. Unfortunately, most of the food lacked flavour. The rice was bland, the chicken was quite dry, the chicken karahi had very little taste, and the chips were completely unseasoned. The only highlight of the meal was the chapli kebab, which we enjoyed. I understand that restaurants can get especially busy during Ramadan, but there seemed to be a clear lack of organisation, attention to customers, and sufficient staff on the floor. Overall, the experience was frustrating and did not meet expectations.
