House of Kabobs

This is a very good Persian place and there is a Halal sign on the door. Food and customer service is very good. I was at this place with someone at work and they enjoyed the food. Prices are reasonable.

I am a foodie and always looking for good places to eat"¦ this place had mixed reviews but I was dying to try it since its located in my vicinity..so I did.. ordered Kashk Bademjan as an appetizer and Koobideh Morgh and Chenjeh & Koobideh as main entrees"¦ I can tell you their food is nothing short of excellent"¦ There are a lot of places here but I couldn't find a descent HALAL Persian/Afghan.. Well now I have found one"¦ Now about people complaining about the owner serving alcohol.. Please know I am a Muslim, just like you.. I agree that you are better Muslim.. and by advocating to close a restaurant owners business because he serves alcohol is a testimony to your faith"¦ I know this much"¦ we lie occasionally, and so do you"¦ intentionally do bad things and then try to justify them as right or ask for forgiveness.. but never do a critical self-assessment of our soul.. but when it comes to judging other"¦ we spare no details"¦ Please, move to a country where you can live with the Islamic principles you advocate.. and if you find one, please email me so I can relocate as well"¦ but don't spoil a decent man's business just because he confronts your principals"¦

The food is very good. The owner is very nice. Why are two reviewers getting so down on the owner for serving alcohol to his non Muslim customers? He as a business to run and needs to serve all of his customers in order to survive. If you want to live someplace where you won't see any alcohol leave these United States for someplace like Saudi or Iran, please. The native born here won't miss you.

Stopped in here for a late lunch (approx. 3:30pm) and it was empty. I tried the lamb kebab pieces which comes with rice and a tomato. The lamb was pretty tender and tasted good. The price was reasonable but a little on the high side (cost was over $10). Very clean interior and friendly service.

I would never eat at a restaurant that serves alcohol and neither do my friends, family and all the large organizations I run ... I do not recommend this restaurant at all ... it is unfortunate most Iranian restaurants do not understand ... question is, why would they? I guess they do not understand they will make more money without alcohol and wont earn God's anger with their weak excuses ... selling their souls to 'fit' in. Is there not enough alcohol ruining society and families all ready besides the Quran banning it? I know they will go out of business unless they change. So for right now we will not recommend this place to any-one and in-fact will ban it like the other restaurants who served alcohol which we banned and went out of business, insh'Allah. Islam has not been made for people to cherry-pick the Lord's commandments as they choose or please to please their psychological diseases of their blackened consciousness. They are missing 'valuable' ingredient which will end up in the spirits of the patrons who eat their which will result in their loss as well. Eat only at restaurants that do not serve alcohol to teach these places a lesson. The fact that they present it in public shoes their lack of shame, their pride in it and their void of 'ayuh az Khuda'. Peace.

Had dinner here at it was pretty good. While the place is somewhat small, the setting is decent, neat and clean, with a nice atmosphere. The service is pretty good and the food was delicious. I had the Chicken Kubideh plate (#6 on the menu) and it was well cooked and authentic. Prices are not too bad. Worth checking out if you haven't been here. The only drawback is that the serve alcohol.

Awesome food, authentic Irani, I like the deserts specially.

My husband and I have come here twice with our friends and we have gotten excellent food each time. Yes, they serve beer so if you have issues with that, don't go. But the owners were very friendly, the food was yummy and I really enjoyed my experiences there. My favorites: the chelo kabob and chelo chicken koobidehs. Good stuff!

The combo plate (#22) is the best. Their shawarma sandwiches are also good. The best part about going here is the service. The owner and his wife are always friendly and welcoming and remember you and your family members. Flavorful, but on the expensive side.

I went there yesterday and was looking forward to the food until I saw their refrigerator filled with Beer. YES, they serve alcohol. I look at it this way. If a restaurant can serve alcohol then what is stopping it from serving non-halal meat? The food was good but I won't eat there again.
