The owners of this place are terrible. My parents hosted a wedding reception here for my husband and I and while the staff were great and the place is beautiful, the owners are very rude and highly unprofessional. The owners lied to us about the availability of the halls and broke the terms of our agreement. Our family and friends have all been told about this and will never use Monty's again.
Assalamualaikum, First off, I'm quite shocked by the comment of "RiverRunsDeep". Perhaps that person is referring to the other part owner, whom I do not personally know of. Allahu Alam. As for the other owner, Dr. Quadri, he is the most giving and humble man I have ever met. The way he treats those within the community with respect and humility is just remarkable. I've had 2 events there already and was completely satisfied with the service, Alhamdulillah. I truly recommend that you book a party there. You will not be disappointed! Wassalamualaikum.

I am writing this to warn other Muslims, so they will not be coerced and insulted as my family was for our walima. Monty's does catering, for which the food is very tasty, but the owners have spiteful, rude habit of hiding the food and refusing to bring out more. At our walima, the uncle on the floor told the groom openly to his face that Monty's would not bring out more food because they felt too many guests had arrived. There was plenty of food left, which had already been paid for, yet the owners refused to bring it out and embarrassed the host family. They also refused to bring out any custard for the dessert (qubani ka mithai). When I asked a waitress to please pack up the extra food so it would not go to waste, she first claimed there was no food left (which never, ever happens at a wedding) and then later admitted that the caterer packed up all the food and took it home! The hall itself was the caterer! People love to go because they want to support Muslim businesses (which is the same reason why we went with Monty's to begin with) and they love the cheaper deals Monty's offers you...but in the end, customers are always treated terribly and vow never ever to go to that hall again. There are other similarly priced halls in the suburbs, I suggest you look them up, because none of my friends who went to other halls with similar prices had any horrifying experience. Only Monty's will try to deceive and insult you. I'm sorry, I dont mean to be overly harsh, but I am just trying to say what happened to my family truthfully, so others wont be placed in such a terrible position as we were.
