We eat here regularly as our kids love the food here. We usually get the yougurt chicken kabab and mixed grill platter. I wish they would get more crowds eating here as I find its empty most of the time I visited.
Clean place ,, great food and service.
Amazing food! We are staying nearby for an early morning flight tmro and saw the great reviews online and decided to order from here. Best take out experience of my life. Food (especially gyro) was not greasy, well packaged and we went crazy for the bread they packed alongside our food order. We inhaled the bread. I wish we were staying longer or that bensenville was the kind of place I would revisit because we can't get over how surprisingly light, succulent and homemade taste of the food was.
Good Turkish food - I ran across this gem and tried yogurt chicken: its meat on large thick bread (think of jumbo naan) with yogurt, giving a crispy yet soft texture with a wonderful spice mix. There is nice decor, it's clean and the help is pleasant. Definitely going back to sample more of the menu.
I stopped by for a light snack and the lady behind the counter suggested a cheese burger. The burger was average and the fries were below average because the potatoes were not peeled. so the skin was still on one side of some of the fries. The service however was very good and friendly and the restaurant itself is clean and comfortable.
This is a nice little place tucked in the plaza.the service was very good with the server being very attentive and accommodating. The setting is nice with tables and booths available. I must admit that the eggplant salad in the appetizers is the best in any turkish restaurant I had so far in the Chicagoland area. The bread was fresh and soft. We ordered the mix grill platter which was good except the kabobs were a little tough when u bite into. I would come back here and recommend to friends. Good turkish food
Iskander kabob is the standout, nice juicy thick pieces of meat. The burger needs to be a big thicker though, but the flavor was nice. Kids do well lots of options for them. Owner is very friendly, everytime we've been he has come to the table to check on us.
Food is well prepared, owner/waiters are nice. Clean and fast.
Awesome food. Clean place. Nice staff. I highly recommend here.
delicious food, clean restaurant, great menu. highly recommend it :)
Clean and delicious food! Would definitely go back!
The baba ghanoush is fresh and tasty and different from others. Turkish bread is best when hot. The seasoning of meat is excellent. The only complaint I conveyed to the chef after a few visits was that some of the meat was not done and you can still see uncooked meat if you slice the meat and to my surprise he told me that some people like that and I should order meat "well done" next time. It turned us off, hence the low stars.
nice food good service
Food was excellent, and the service was great. Lahmacun was pretty good and the bread is amazing. Doner Kababs are really good here too.
This place was excellent! My family was reluctant to try this restaurant, but now they are glad we went there! The food was fresh and fairly fast. The service was good, there's no alcohol and the halal symbol is right on the menu. I had the lamb shank--so tender and good, my husband had the trout and it was really well prepared. My son had the pide and loved it. We will definitely go back there!
very good food and freshly made, loved how the chef came out and asked how would you like your pide to be done? nice ambience and very friendly staff... only one server though but he was doing a good job accommodating everyone ... little pricey but definitely worth it! good place to take your family, the chef even gave us bakhlawa on the house.. good service!
Excellent zabiha restaurant! We ordered a mix appetizer platter of grape leaves, falafel, hummous, and swaped teh baba ghanoush for ezme, which is awesome though be warned it's a cold appetizer. The homemade bread was awesome! My husband order a mixed meat platter and swaped the chicken for doner, which is a famous style of Turkish meat (similar to shawarma)- it was yummy! I had the Yogurt Adana Lamb, which was excellent and worth another trip alone! They were were willing to make adjustments easily. My friend had the chicken and rice which rocked! Chef/owner came and greeted us. They were out if apple tea, which was disappointing but the Turkish tea was great. We were served free baklava that was heavenly! Definitely will return!
It's a new and promising small restaurant. Owners and staff members are very friendly and the food is delicious. I'd strongly recommend.
If you like eastern mediterrenean food, this restaurant is one of the best choices you have in Elmhurst / Bensenville area.
