Came in on a busy evening and still got excellent service. Staff handled everything really well and the food came out quickly.
Home from Australia for Christmas and went back to our old favourite Indian restaurant. Pre booked our table, on arrival was seated in a booth which was great, served by the friendly staff very efficiently and quickly. Added capsicum to my curry on request with no problem. Will definitely visit again/get a takeaway next time we’re home!! Not too busy for a Friday night but that suited us tonight.
Very disappointing experience. We were a large group and waited almost two hours for food, and when it finally arrived, many dishes were barely warm. Several plates had to be sent back. We were told replacements would be freshly prepared, yet they came out again within minutes — and one member of staff even admitted they had only been reheated. The prawns also had a strong, unpleasant smell, so we refused to eat them. Unfortunately, a number of us became ill afterward, which has raised serious concerns about the food safety. Even the rice was brought out ten minutes before the curries, meaning it was cold by the time anything else arrived. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was unacceptable both in terms of food quality and service and I hope the restaurant takes action to improve.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant, the service was excellent. The food was incredibly delicious, with generous portion sizes that really impressed us. We were also offered the option to have our leftovers packed to take away, which was thoughtful and appreciated. To top it all off, the complimentary chocolate with the bill was a lovely final touch. Highly recommended!
The food was very nice. Service is poor. I have been to the Juboraj a few times over the years as it is close to home. I have never felt welcome there and I always get the feeling that they are trying to get you out of there as quickly as possible. We had to wait for our table, had to ask for drinks. Our main course arrived whilst we were still eating our poppadoms and they quickly whipped the accompanying dips away. We were still eating our main course and they asked if we had finished. It was obvious we hadn't. It really felt as if staff just wanted to go home. Not good.
