Burrito bars. The world's first opened in 1920s LA, courtesy of Alejandro Borques. The UK's first opened in Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens back in 2005, courtesy of, well, us. 5 million burritos later and several sleepless nights, we have almost perfected the art of burrito making. Our best quality food from around the world & fresh ingredients are expertly put together on site every single day.
The menus clearly state that halal food is served. From the management: 'Both our grilled chicken and steak are certified Halal and are prepared and cooked separately from other non-halal meats'
Score reflects a halal certificate on file.
I loved it here! Jack was excellent at making the food and was attentive. The options for the food were fantastic including vegan feta for a cheese option! Its very rare I get to have great non-lactose options. Let alone the amount of vegan food. Everything was incredible! (Also nice to see an inclusive flag on the wall!)
Loved the food - great for vegans and vegetarians. Simple but tasty menu with enough options (menu was excellent for neurodiverse people or a mother who CANNOT MAKE UP HER MIND). Manager took my allergies seriously and service from David and Mike was proper lush. Will definitely come back and let my mum buy my food again! (I'm thirty six years old 😎 👍)
The food here is absolutely amazing!!! 😍😍 not to mention that the staff are always lovely and welcoming!! The order process is very simple, you either order at the counter, on the screens or there’s an order at the table scanner on every table. I absolutely love it here it’s a must stop every time im in Cardiff!!! ❤️
Absolutely horrendous experience at bar burrito. My first time coming here and I definitely will not be back. Ordered my meal at the self serving kiosk with two people in line in front of me and a fairly empty restaurant with 3 staff behind the counter and unsure how many in the kitchen. Gave one order to a customer who was sat down and then dealt with the other customer in line. Heard nothing for ages. Another family comes in, I check the time on apply pay, almost 15 minutes since I ordered. They ask if I’ve ordered and I said yes, and that was it. At over 20 minutes past, I went over and saw them very hastily preparing a burrito with minimal fillings. I said I’d been waiting over 20 minutes, they asked my order number, and pointed to that burrito. No apology, no acknowledgment of waiting over 20 minutes for a burrito that took the customer in front of me 2 minutes to be served. So now I sit in my car, sad with a very subpar burrito, wishing I’d gone anywhere else. (Please see photo of my very sad burrito with a tiny bit of beef that I paid extra for as a premium meat option)
Amazing service! Offered us deals and explained how best to order. The two staff member serving us (sorry I didn’t get your name! Both wearing glasses :)) were great and made the experience! Our food tastes soooo fresh and another member of staff was cleaning around. Great vibe in sitting in too despite being busy. Will definitely be back!
