I have eaten here many times, and I keep coming back for the butter chicken, palak, goat biryani, etc. So many good dishes.

Hello, The "ZABIHA HALAL" status has been unverified, the owner has been contacted to provide the details of "Hand slaughter Halal" but "No" response came so far from the management, If anyone customer can check the Zabiha halal status and post it here it will be very helpful for many. Thank you.

A little in the spivey side. But very flavorful. Would recommend them keeping stevia to sweeten drinks and not the bad sugar or substitutes. Clean environment and good service.

For years we\'ve been enjoying Aga\'s goat chops. They\'re the best we\'ve had anywhere and I\'ve traveled quite a bit. Just recently also ordered their mixed grill which came with several different types of kabab. All good... but their chicken tikka was just wow! Of the dozens of desi Houston restaurants I\'ve tried Aga\'s chicken tikka is in the top 3. Almost a tie between Aga\'s chicken tikka and Afghan Cuisine\'s Tandoori Chicken.

One of my relatives recommended this restaurant telling me its open late till 11.30pm, so i took my overseas relatives that came today to this place. The front door said that the restaurant is open till 11.30 pm too, however it was 10.30 pm when we got there and were told harshly that restaurant is closed 1st and then that the Kitchen and Grill is been shut down, which is "60 mins" before the actual closing time. i requested them to serve due to our guests and the gentleman over counter told me that i have to wait 30 mins for it which i agreed to, but then he came back from inside saying "No" period. I asked for the manager or the owner, and it went from bad to worst, the owner or mngr started with the "typical pinching tone" saying that not everything can be written on the front door, using the word "listen" and then "walked off" on me when i interrupted him on his tone. I had to take my guests elsewhere and it was awkward. It was atleast one of the worst customer service experience ever if not the most. will not recommend this place due to their extreme unethical and unprofessional behaviors.

The food is mediocre. Don't know about the confirmed zabihah status though.

Been here twice. The ambiance is whatever, even though they have fixed it up somewhat. The food is pretty decent. Butter chicken is really good! The naans are amazing. Nihari is not bad either. When we went for Iftar last year, they gave everyone a plate of pakoras, dates and cut up fruit to break the fast. We thought that was really awesome. It's worth a visit.

i heard there was a recent change of mgmt...so i went to check it out ...and food taste has a big upgrade from the last time i came which was 2+ yrs ago....mixed grill and biryani are awesome! after i was so fullll i still wanted some more....thats how good it was

Assalam u alaikum, we catered from Aga's for an eid party and mashallah the food was amazing! Our guests kept asking where we got the food from and many even took some home. It was the first time I asked for mild biryani and they actually made it mild. We ordered goat biryani, butter chicken (crowd favorite), palak paneer, and grilled chicken pieces. All in all an excellent experience. The owner was also real helpful in helping us order our food.

This place is a little pricey for the serving size. We ordered several things for a group of 9 people and were surprised to see the serving sizes and quantities. The food was good though and the place was ok for a family. They have a big variety of items which is great.

We've been here many times. Chicken makhani is always good as posted by the users below. We also usually get palak paneer and dal fry which are also always good. During our visit last week (weeknight, empty restaurant, 8:30pm) we ordered three chicken tikka with a bunch of other things. One of the chicken legs had bright red blood coming out of it (one or two teaspoons pooled at the edge of the dish). We told the young pakistani looking guy with big head, drooping eye lids, and sagging jeans and he said it comes out of the bone sometimes, but it's well cooked and I can eat it. After cutting into it, it was a little too pink for my taste. Most people have the courtesy of at least taking it to the kitchen, cooking a few more minutes and putting it back on a clean plate. We didn't eat it and still got charged for it. It's a good place with good food. Just make sure you check your meat before biting into it. I'm going to stick to the chicken makhani!

Butter Chicken! Butter Chicken! Butter Chicken! They have probably the best butter chicken I've ever eaten. And the food is really really yummy.

I have been here a few times, but never took the initiatives to provide a feedback. Today I feel like giving a comprehensive write up. The atmosphere is suitable for family and friends and can be classified as informal restaurant. It's quite clean. I have tried many food items such as Chicken tika, goat biryani, chicken biryani, butter chicken and others. The taste is fantastic and woth coming again. Sometimes, the biryani tend to be too greasy...room for improvement, but otherwise it is great. Must try!

The puri over here is really good and crispy..however the falooda can be improved...

This is a great place to eat for the entire family. Was surprised to find it better than Himalaya or Savoy. The lamb chops are fantastic. Very clean, and good service

Comments on the 1st two reviews. Cooks are crazy! If they aren't happy then they will make things up. Make sure you have abolute proof before commenting that a place is really zabihah or not. Now for the other review. Pricey? I mean what do you expect to pay for food. It's not McDonalds with a 99 cents menu! If you like the food don't cry about the price...unless you're paying $15 per dish. This is a nice decent place and the food is good.

we recently found out the food isn't really zabihah by the head cook, its really jus regular supermarket bought chicken n they call it halal....jus a warning wAllahu alam
