Every time we go we get treated like we are at home Excellent hospitality great customer service and last but not least CHICKEN KABAB so delicious can't describe in words We are coming to this place since 2006 taste never changes If you want to come try the best dishes 1. Kababs 2. Grill fish 3. Lahore Cholley 4. Kashmiri Chai / Chamen Ice Cream 4. Goat Karahi with black pepper I highly recommend take you family And enjoy the feast
Food was pretty good, but service was HORRIBLE. It took forever to get the food, about 40 min. Then, they didn't even bring water and spoon for my kheer. I had to ask. I am sitting at the place right now and waiting on my tea. Basically, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone due to the poor service. I had a beef seekh Kabab roll with sweet lassi (not sweet at all) and kheer. I would've given it a 4 for food but the bad service has compelled me to bring it down to a 2.
poor and extremely rude service t,hat tops off the poor cuisine, a NO GO place, sincerely, khuda ke liye ,avoid
I really bad in giving them low rating but I was feeling worse while paying my bill. Food was not good at all and we were extremely disappointed!
Chicken kabob are good but apart from that everything else is microwave heated . Customer service sucks , no customer appreciation what so ever, they mess up order all the time and worst of all most of the time they even have anything on menu . Don't waste you money and time .
Average...
Its a big place, looks like some old American burger place. We reached there at 6:00 and we were only people for some time, but there were about 4-5 families by the time we left. There were 11 people in our group and it took about 1 hour for food to arrive, it was all prepared fresh from scratch. We ordered chicken karahi, chicken kabab, biryani, tikka and rolls. Taste of the food was pure Lahore. We also ordered pani puri which was also very tasty. Price of the food is very cheap as compared to price. Owner is very nice and came to our table a couple times as courtesy.
Were in the area and stopped to get dinner Sunday night. Inside and outdoor seating seemed nice. Got our food to go, service was kind of slow but nice. Food was good and seemed fresh even for a get Sun evening. I am suprised more ppl weren't there. Naan was excellent and 80c! Would go here again. UPDATE: I would like to say that even after being here several times, the food is ALWAYS fresh and excellent. My favorite pakistani restaurant in Houston. Oh and I tried the chatkhara burger (chicken), VERY tasty! Great job!
My family and I went here on fri night. I liked that it wasn't crazy full. Food was really really amazing! we had the chicken biryani, goat biryani and chicken kabab. Chicken kabab and Biryani were really really good. Grilled fish was moist and perfectly seasoned.Goat biryani was also good. Can't wait to go back!
Our first experience at this place was good. But other two subsequent events I don't want to even go to this place. Once we got got a long human hair in the Bihari kebab which we reported and the owner lady was so adamant that it might be hair of the animal and not of human , regardless of whose hair it was , these are not hygienic ethics and we were asked if we would like to have another one , to which we said yes but didn't knew we will be charged for that. Totally unprofessional. Second time I ordered take out and the Bihari kabab was uncooked from inside. So I might need to drop this place from my list moving forward and convey the same to my friends.
Excellent Food and Service.. We went there couple of months ago for lunch and fell in love with their food.. specially Chicken kabab, Biryani, Butter Chicken,Lahori chicken cholay, and Chicken korma. Besides the food quality and taste also love the food prices.
After the being disappointed with Shahnai, this is a good find. Excellent superb food quality and taste. Sells out very quick (by 6pm or so) so dont be late in the eveninings. 100% Lahori food taste and 100% Halal - No bleeding chicken leg pieces. I will definitely revisit for years to come.
Possibly the best chicken kababs I've tasted in my life, but the price of them has gone up to 1.99 per. Everything else is mediocre.
Their kababs are excellent. We usually togo the kabab with some tamarind sauce and make our own wraps at home. Excellent! Haven't tried the nihari, so not sure how good that is. Biryani and haleem is ok. Chai is great! Also, the service is great. Very polite, cheerful and nice. I go there b/c the service is nice as well.
I loved this placeâ•I'm going back there again! All the waitors/waitresses were very nice :D Nihari is not good.
We went to this place on a Saturday afternoon, not so many customer. We had to wait for quite a while before we got some attention. The food was delivered quickly, however, it was quite a spicy food for us. The layout of the place with an outside seating area seems great.
Place is starting to stay packed. Fish is OFF THE CHAIN - EXCELLENT. and kabobs have always been houston's best. I like the beef but everyone else at home loves the chicken.
Nice chicken kabob.
Chatkhara grill moved into new location new address is 6202 highway 6 south Houston tx. 77083 ph. 281-988-7141 & 713-240-1115. Now one of the best restaurant in town you must see with food
Had takeout from here once. The briyani and chicken seekh kebobs are good. Karai chicken was too oily.
Their chicken seekh kabobs are unbeatable, hands down.
The food from here is actually very good. My family and relatives have food catered from here during get togethers.
I agree that this is not among the best restaurants in town, but they are not a full fledged stand alone restaurant, they are a store opened inside the International Food Warehouse, which is a really big Desi grocery store (biggest that I have ever seen in USA). It is like you see McDonald in Walmart. Food is not so good, but okay if you are so hungry during shopping. Or you can order the food to go and do your shopping and pick food while checking out. Their prices are pretty good, we tried Chicken Seekh Kabobs which were 1.75 each and were not bad at all, we bought these again.
This restaurant is not the best one in town. It's food is not the best (except for the chicken patties) and the place and area of the restaurant are not good..it's too dirty (even in the kitchen) they should remodel their kitchen...
