Nice place to buy fresh halal meat. You can buy only part of chicken (wings, drumstick, etc) and they also have fresh beef and lamb. Previously we only eat fishes and now, Alhamdulillah now my family can cook and eat halal meat.
A little crowded, but their variety makes up for it. All their stuff has good dates and produce fresh because of their large customer base. Great assortment of labne and cheeses. I always make the over an hour drive to come here when I need to stock up.
My wife and I have been going to this store for almost 10 years. No major complaints. Sometimes my wife feels that their meat is not clean enough.
A good place to buy fresh Zabihah meat and other related products. The only drawback is that the place is extremely unorganized and it can be challenging to get service during rush hours.
Taj Mahal Imports is the best Halal market in the Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area. Because they are always busy, they are able to keep everything fresh and prices low. Most people who shop here are very friendly. It is a nice place to go to even sometimes I don't need to buy alot.
This is a good and clean place. The main problem is that it gets very crowded, especially on the weekends, and you end up having to wait in a long line...both for the butcher and also at the cashier. I would suggest that they put a cashier at the buthcher area, so people can just pay for their meat and leave if they need to.
This store is great and carries a lot of out of ordinary products like beef bacon, chicken breakfast sausages, etc. If you don't find what you need just tell the owner and he may order it for you, he is very accommodating.
I used to go to this place, but the people are very rude. The meat counter guys take way too long (they refuse to fill an order if they are eating lunch, and they all eat together, which is so inefficient)and there is one guy who always gives an attitude. The owner yells at his menial staff at will.
They have a nice selection of Indian and Middle Eastern groceries. The quality of the meat is about a 8 out of 10(on most days) . It is(meat) a bit expensive too. The service at the meat counter can range from good to very bad. During busy times they have only one butcher serving a whole line of customers, where as if you go at other times they are just really not doing much. Also the cashiers are really slow and are not too familiar with the prices ,except for the owner(who is extremly slow but very friendly) and the owners wife who I would say is the best out of them all.
We normally buy meat from Induz in Berkeley but Taj Mahal is a good alternative. There are few men behind the butcher counter but Mansur is very friendly and offer to clean the chicken skin. The owner Saif is ver friendly too.
the lady is okie, i see saif always yelling at his employees in front of the coustomers which is just pathetic and shows that he dosnt have respect for them..
The store is very good. Everything is available at a reasonable price. The owner's wife is very nice and humble with the customers. She knows how to deal with the customers. Now, I want to come again and again.
The store has an excellent variety of goods at reasonable prices. Yet two problems Floor Hygiene and long queues
I enjoy the selection and prices, but the excessive time it takes to get meat and go through the check out line keep me heading to other halal groceries.
I useed to buy from him and since then the prices go up randomly for every thing.
1. Service is terrible. The owner / cashier has no concept of first come, first serve. 2. Prices have gone up sharply in recent months
Terrible customer service, very rude people!
I called to find out the price of lamb and was informed "we dont give quotes over the phone"... needless to say, they lost my business.
The owner is nice and prices are very reasonable.
The meat is excellent. The prices are really good. Perfect for your monthly grocery shopping.
The meat is very good, and you can get pretty much any kind of cut you want (which can be a problem at some halal meat places). I have personally seen them clean the meat room down with disinfectant before closing. The store has a nice selection of halal products, even if it is a bit cluttered. The service is quite nice.
This is a good place to get all your grocery.they sell halal meat, vegetables, breads, halal food in cans, have arabic, pakistani spices too.
I think Saif uncle is very friendly, and he knows how to take care of his customers. Their meat is good.
The owner is very friendly and nice. Price very reasonable. Sells halal meat.
Nice grocery store owned by a Pakistani.

"I haven't been there, but they claim to sell zabihah meat."
