Ordered take-out from here. Had Chapli Kabab (a little spicy), Chicken Kebab and Bolani (a little under-cooked). The food was decent, but I have had better Afghani food. The place is small and next to a market (same owners), so it was a little chaotic in terms of customer service. They give you a decent size piece of Naan which was good, but they did not give any chutneys in my take-out order (Not sure if I had to ask for it, since most other Afghani places give you the chutneys with take-out). But I will probably try them again to see how the dine in experience is like.

This is a good restaurant for Afghan food. The restaurant is part of a market, so just walk in through the market to get to the restaurant. The Kabuli was delicious and mantu was very tasty. It\'s a small restaurant, probably fits 40 people, but the food makes up for it. Also there is a buffet, so if you can\'t decide on the dish, you can help yourself. Try it out if you want some good afghan food.

The Chapli kabob here is off the chain! Comparable to De Afghanan - I haven't found a Chapli kabob I've enjoyed anywhere else. If you can make it during the week for their buffet (M-F, on until 4pm) it's the move. $11.99 for unlimited Chapli kabobs (winning!), koobideh (also great), chicken (okay), rice (brown or white), bulani (also pretty good). There is also usually a chicken masala dish, a veggie dish, and a basic salad available as well. Their burgers / philly's aren't as good, but their Chapli / Koobideh are bomb and their buffet is a great deal.

This is my new favorite place for Afghani food. Yes, it\'s a bit sketchy. Yes, it seems pretty empty. But we have eaten there and picked up food almost a dozen times and each time it is consistently good. We love the chicken kabob plate, the chapli kabob and the beef kabob and the eggplant. They\'re always delicious. I don\'t even like white meat but somehow the way they grill that chicken kabob; it always comes out juicy and tender. Consistently. Also, they have white sauce (if you\'ve lived in NY, you\'ll understand)! Always ask for some white sauce on the side, it\'s worth it! Give this place a shot, you\'ll be pleasantly surprised!

Atrocious for the customer service. We waited for about 40 minutes for the Friday buffet to be refilled just munching on their bread and salad. The food didn't come. They charged us full price and had a comment about how you have to wait that much when you order anyway. So you get charged because it is a buffet even if you don't get the food, but you have to wait as if you had ordered the food...Don't think I'll be heading here anytime soon :(

Went there today with 4 other colleagues. First off the food was really good and quantity was very large. We ordered Two Chabli Kabab, two Kobiedeh Kabab and a Qabuli Palaw. Service was nice but extremely slow. It took more than 5 minutes for them to come and take our order. It would have taken longer if we had not called them. The food took half an hour to come. I timed it because last time we came, we waited roughly 45 minutes. They have improved but not by much. The food is fresh though and amazing.

You get extremely generous quantity of whatever you order! The koobideh was soft n juicy and YUMM! And so was the chicken tikka kabob! The service is excellent too! After we got our order of lamb chops, we thought we'd like a chicken better and they didn't mind changing that!

I've been to this restaurant twice now and must say the food is excellent and some of the best Afghani food I've tasted. The menu is limited but everything is very good, especially the chappali kebobs. For some reason I haven't seen many patrons when I visit but I would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area or live nearby.

Excellent food. They have all kinds of kabobs. My wife and I love eating there. My favorite is the beef tikka kabob. All the plates come with rice and salad. This place is highly recommended.
