Visited this restaurant during my trip to the Bay Area. The staff didn't seem very courteous and the biryani tasted below average.

Good ambience. Has prayer room. Spacious. Lamb karhai was super. Chicken biryani terrible. Chicken tandoori kabab was ok, not as great as other places.

Call before visiting. They are randomly closed during the day - drove out at 4 on a Saturday to find them closed, no return time posted on the door either. Prices seem cheap though.

Similar to the other location. Tandoori items were average. Service was a little better at their other location. If in the area I would return.

Food is good and taste is consistent. I will not put it at excellent but certainly this is one of the restaurants where we usually walk in when we are not in a mood to cook and would like to grab some decent food. And the fact that it is open till pretty late in night (11 pm on weekdays and 2am on weekends) made it very convenient for us as we usually have our dinner after 9 pm...

This place is totally renovated now. It is better than the other Shan on Stevens Creek if I say so myself. It is much larger, cleaner... cleaner bathrooms (lets keep it that way plz). Same GREAT tasting food though. and free chai. YEY!

Same great taste that SHAN is known for, except in a little smaller location than the one they have on Stevens Creek.
