About Shawarmaji
Chef Mohammad Abutaha moved from Amman to the bay area, where he couldn't find the flavors from home, so he started a pop-up to satisfy his cravings and introduce Jordan-style street food to others. Shawarmaji's menu is short and simple, which is best for the small operation.

It’s nice! Parking can be tricky in the area but that’s the case for all the other shops on the street. The wraps are nice, the meat can sometimes be dry/rubbery. It’s also kinda overpriced in my opinion, but I’m not that upset by it considering the food quantity and quality.

Halal meat is served here. Owners are known Muslims. This is the 2nd location of the popular Oakland based Shawarma spot. Jordanian style shawarma which has some of the best Toum (garlic sauce) in the Bay Area! Irfan\'s Tip: Try the \"Arabi-style\" chicken shawarma which is cut up into smaller pieces which makes it easier to eat and also dip into the toum. The Chicken Shawarma Fries are great as well!
