With a desire to bring authentic Nepalese cuisine to the heart of the Twin Cities, we have now opened Himalayan just across the river in Minneapolis. We saw the positive reviews and decided to order some carry-out. It was a major disappointment. This is a ridiculously overpriced place. We ordered some momos, a ram toria aloo (okra), a coconut chicken curry, a lamb biryani, plain rice and naan. The food didn't taste bad but the portions are extremely tiny. The momos are miniscule. The lamb and chicken (dark meat not breast) were diced up the size of garbanzo beans and you had to search hard to find the few pieces. They give us a large amount of rice though. In essence, we paid over $60 for largely plain rice! These folks will never get my money again.
