In-House freshly baked pastries, coffees and teas. Damascene inspired Coffee House opened its doors in June 2014. In November 2014 it was voted as winner of "Moseley In Bloom Most Captivating Cafe 2014". The name "Damascena"(meaning "Damascus Rose") reflects not only the city that inspires our food, but also our beautifully themed coffee house. Damascena Coffee House offers food that is incredibly healthy, and there is a large vegetarian menu available to give you plenty of selection.

Overall, I’ve had a good experience with the food at this chain. However, when it comes to the shawarma bowl, I would say that the portion size is not always very filling — you usually need something extra unless you order a side as well. That said, the food is tasty and it’s an easy, convenient option. I’ve visited Damascena many times and in other places and would recommend it, but people should be aware that the chicken shawarma bowl, in particular, is not very generous in portion size.
