Great service, warm hospitality & very good food – will visit again We recently dined at Ziyka Restaurant Melbourne and had a really pleasant experience overall. We ordered prawns golden fried, fish fried with cheesy topping , gol gappay, samosa chaat, goat karahi, and a BBQ platter – a nice mix of street food and mains. The service was exceptional. Honestly, the team really touched us with their level of care, attention, and genuine hospitality. It’s not often you feel that welcomed and looked after at a restaurant, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our meal. Food-wise, I’d rate it a solid 4 stars. The flavours were good and the variety on the table made for a great shared dining experience. Like any good kitchen, there’s always room for continual improvement, and a couple of small tweaks could easily elevate the food to the next level. One thing that really stood out was their customer service recovery – when the oven bread came out a bit overcooked, the staff acknowledged it straight away and kindly offered us gulab jamun on the house. That gesture speaks volumes about how much they value their customers and take feedback positively. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience with excellent service and good food. Would happily return and recommend Ziyka to friends and family.
