Similar to little India just a tad more expensive. Although you get a naan in your curry meal which is awesome
Situated in QV Melbourne, Spice Kitchen has quickly become my new favourite spot for Indian food in the CBD. The customer service truly stands out — the staff at the counter are incredibly welcoming, warm, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. We started with the Samosa Chaat, which was packed with flavour and tasted just like authentic Indian street food. Next, we had the masala dosa — an absolute 10/10. It was perfectly crisp, filled with a well-seasoned potato stuffing, and paired beautifully with a delicious sambhar. To finish, we tried the veg thali with potato fry and chickpea curry served alongside saffron rice. It’s definitely a must-try, especially with the variety of options they offer. If you’re on the hunt for comforting, homely South Indian food in Melbourne CBD, this place is a must-visit. Absolutely loved it!
