If you haven't heard of Fattoush yet, you are welcome in advance. This place might be in a main area at Hurontario and Ray Lawson, but most times I've gone, it's empty. They've been open since January and apparently they have a decent lunch rush. Their shawarmas are straight up the best on this list of hidden joints, making them our number one under the radar shawarma. They've got the crunch, the flavour, the spice, the meat, the pita, and the freshness that you want in a shawarma, combined with a hidden location that you'll want to hit up before they're more popular than Osmow's.
A halal certificate is clearly visible on the premises. All meat is hand slaughtered from Sargent Farms.
Score reflects a halal certificate on file.
My recent visit to Fattoush Grill was disappointing due to a significant hygiene concern and a lapse in customer service. While enjoying my meal, I found a hair in my food. I understand that incidents can occasionally happen during food preparation, but the response from the staff was what truly warranted this feedback. When I quietly pointed out the issue, I was told, "this is small hair not from us," which completely dismissed my concern and shifted the blame instead of offering a sincere apology and resolution. Appreciating the effort that goes into preparing food, I strongly suggest management emphasize to their team the importance of proper hygiene protocols and, more importantly, how to communicate professionally and apologetically with customers when concerns arise. She said I will replace the food I understand but ,A simple apology and a replacement dish instead of saying this is not from us would have resolved the issue, but the dismissive answer forces me to bring this to your attention.
