This was my second time . First time I ordered Chicken with noodles and the noodles were kinna hard to chew. So I gave them benefit of the doubt or maybe it's a cultural thing. Now today I got Lamb Skewers for about $8.00 and they were two tiny skewers , I would say probably $2 worth of meat . It was again very chewy and not fulfilling at all. So the Verdict: If you are in the area and dying to eat halal chicken, Lamb or beef then go here otherwise go somewhere else like Halal Guys is 3 miles away . :)
Heard and saw so much about Uyghur food, finally get to eat their hand pulled noodles with beef. Some thing that I have been willing to eat for long. It was awesome, will come back here every time I come to Chino CA.
The food was not appetizing at the very least. They gave us a large plate loaded with chicken, oil, and a very little amount of noodles, which made it uneasy to serve. The food was overloaded with spices and garlic, which made things worse. Very expensive and not very good quality. Wouldn't recommend going here..
I\'m not very familiar with Uyghur cuisine, so I\'m not sure about the authenticity of the food. However, the flavors were different and something I crave to try again. I didn\'t like the traditional noodle dishes as much as the other food. The noodles were tougher and more chewy than I expected. I also felt they used too much oil in the food, so that it seemed overly greasy. I would still return to try new dishes and learn more about this cuisine.
Food is good volume and very tasty if you don't go with cheap appetizers for the main course. It's a bit pricy but worts it.
Please do not waste your money. We went with our family and the food was terrible. The chicken was previous days and the spices were an extreme mixture everything thrown in with heavy oil. Noodles were few thrown in. I would not return.
Loved the Lamb skewers. I also ordered the noodle with Lamb and chili which was AMAZING! The service was really good and will definitely return. A bit on the expensive side but worth it.
Amazing Chinese food. Very delicious lamb skewers, chicken with potatoes and thick cut noodles, and beef mince bread pie. The waitress was very nice and helped us decide what to order. The owner and others greeted us with salaams which is always a nice thing to get when visiting a halal restaurant. Prices were good. Would def recommend to others.
Good food, however if you never had Uyghur food you must know the portions and it is definitely not your regular Chinese food. The big chicken plate is very big and tasty. It can feed 6-8 people. The food seems very authentic. The soup is desired taste. Noddles are very good. Lamb kabob are chewy but tasty. Overall first experience was good and we will return.
Tasty, fresh food! friendly service, reasonable prices. I had lunch with family, party of 7. We had xinjiang style chopped noodles with veggies, pulled noodles over big a big chicken curry plate, some ox-tail soup and a type of fried bread. Authentic flavors, clean and pleasant decor. Because a couple of my aunts didn't want to eat too spicy, the waitress made sure the chef was sensitive to that in preparing the noodle dishes. This medium-small restaurant is located in a plaza and has maybe 10 tables with maybe 40 person capacity. The owner said they've been open for 3 months; we were there on a wednesday lunch and there were 4 other parties there - lively but not crowded. They have a halal symbol on their glass window / door but more importantly IMO, they had two staff members that were ethnic uighurs that when queried, stated that they purchase new zealand / australia zabihah lamb and local zabiha chicken and beef. Even with all the great choices in south LA county / OC, will defintely eat here again soon!
