This review is specially for our brothers and sisters who care about eating ZABIHA HALAAL food. I was just at the location on 1001 North ave and I was fortunate to ask about the current status on zabiha and to my surprise they only have zabiha halaal chicken. Anything else is NOT zabiha halal anymore. Frequent customer, please ensure to check the status on it everytime.

One of the better Mediterranean spots in the city, and that's saying something considering Chicago is overloaded with Med grills. It's quick (Chipotle style ordering) and healthy, tastes great, and is just a nice overall place. Try the chicken or steak shawarma! Note, the turkey is not halal.

This place is a gem - great food, nice decor, quick and friendly service, and it has its own parking (that's a big deal in Lincoln Park). The staff offered us a bite of chicken shawarma and we knew that we had to order a sandwich - juicy, moist and mildly spicy, it was perfect. We also got a steak shawarma and it was just as good - juicy, tender and not dried out like it is at other places. If it was closer, we would eat there every week.
