We came here foe Iftar and ordered a Sunnah Platter for £30. We were 4 people, 2 adults and 2 teenage kids and it was more than enough for all 4 of us. The service was very good too. They timely gave all of us our order so we can break our fast. They gave complimentary dates (khajoor) and 4 water bottles. After iftar we enquired for dessert and we were given complimentary lollipops. They have ice cream which we weren’t interested in. It was so cute! Also, we ordered a big karak chai and enjoyed that after Iftar. Great place, great ambiance (I prefer sitting upstairs).
Heard about the place and how it was unique (came out of town). It was way too busy for a small kitchen and hence why the food came out too fast. Chips were drowned in oil/teal. Undercooked to hell; falling apart and floppy. Signature green fish had no taste/spice and was undercooked. The "green" covering did nothing for the fish and tasted no different to normal covering. Completely different to the "Food review club" video which they praised the chips for having little to none oil. Shows how sponsored videos aren't real life. Taking orders despite not being able to handle the rate of orders will not get you good reviews or good results. For the Muslims of the grill. Fear Allah and do not seek the perishable goods of this world, for the atheists, have some common sense.
