Really annoying when it's stated 20:30 closure online, they don't let you in at 20:18 just to buy water and the day you go in early, they say "we are closing, we're only waiting for you at 20:22. No issues if you wish to close early, just please advertise shop closing at 20:15 or something to save us the journey.

I’ve been to Pak store several times now, and unfortunately I’ve noticed repeated issues. That’s why I feel the need to write this review—to warn other customers. The meat section is especially concerning. I was told multiple times that the meat was “fresh,” even though the packaging clearly showed it had already passed its expiration date by a day. On top of that, the meat had already turned grey, which is an obvious sign that it’s no longer fresh. I also had bad experiences with fruit. I bought strawberries where only the top few looked fine, but underneath most of them were already moldy. In general, it feels like the produce isn’t being checked or rotated properly. I even saw the same pineapple sitting in the exact same spot for days, gradually getting worse and visibly going bad. On top of that, the prices are very high for the quality being offered. Charging premium prices for products that are already spoiled—or close to it—is simply not acceptable. Overall, it feels like the store is trying to make profit even from items that should have been thrown away. For me, that’s a complete no-go.

Unfortunately, my experience at this shop was disappointing for several reasons, which make me unlikely to return again: Lack of trustworthiness in weighing: There is no customer scale in the fruit and vegetable section. You go to the cashier only to be surprised that the weight is more than what you asked for (for example, you request one kilo and are given one and a half kilos). This puts the customer in an awkward position in front of others, as if you are forced to buy it against your will. Misleading pricing: There is clear price manipulation. A discounted price (special offer) is displayed on the shelves, but at the checkout you discover that the price registered in the system is significantly higher. Poor customer service: The cashier does not respect the customer’s requested quantity and attempts to impose extra amounts in an unprofessional manner. Conclusion: The place lacks transparency and honesty in its sales practices. I advise everyone to check the prices and weights before paying, or to look for a better alternative that respects customers

Today I bought chicken from your store because there was an offer (3 chickens for £10). After purchasing, I went straight home, which took about 15 minutes. When we arrived home and started preparing dinner for my family, we opened the chicken bag and were shocked to find a very bad smell, clearly indicating that the chicken was not fit for consumption. Unfortunately, it was late at night and I was unable to return the chicken to the shop. If the store had been open, I would have returned it immediately. This situation caused us great inconvenience and disappointment, especially as it concerns the health and safety of customers and children. Where is the quality control on the meat being sold? How can spoiled products be offered to customers? I hope the Health Department will visit this place and ensure that the food being sold is safe and meets proper health standards, as this situation is completely unacceptable.
