Food was below average. No proper buffet system,Long queue to reach to the buffet table . One has to stand for 25,30 min to reach to the room where buffet/food tables were arranged.so one will have to think alot to go there again and take food thats why people filled 2,3 plates at each visit,as the quality of food was not upto the mark so mostly food was wasted on every table. No drink/ juice included though it was aftar buffet (20 pounds/ person) Donot invite any guest here else you will regret"¦
went here for a wedding, food was very good, reading the other reviews, im glad I didn\'t have to pay! service could have been better. their pilau rice was amazing.
Great looking place. Very high prices especially given the area it sits in (nearest alternative eateries are fried chicken shops or chip shops - says it all really). The food is not bad; not bad at all. I'd say 3 out of 5 overall. Would score much higher if the prices were more reasonable and reflected the location.
Below average food and not worth the price.
So, the food is average, the building and decor is Stunning and the cocktails are pretty good. For me that all equals out to an above average place. Indeed it is pricey and the portions may be slightly smaller than average my family and I found the quality of the food to be no better or no worse than Akbars or Faisals. Great parking considering the area. I will definitely bring visitors to Brum here to eat inshaAllaah...
Don't waste your time or money!
Rip off ! After hearing so much about this place we decided to pay it a visit. Well like most people who will visit this place it is money well spent on the interior and the outside of the building looks nice too. That was the best part of our visit, unfortunately the food was ridiculously over priced we ordered a mix grill for starters and a chicken curry dish with naan. The waiter assured us that would be sufficient for 2 people eating what he didn't mention was it was more sufficient for 2 toddlers instead judging by the tiny portions in front of us ! We decided to order another dish a lamb karahi but for some reason the waiter was trying to put us off ordering it saying it would take too long to cook ? We persisted and finally got our way and got the dish served in front of us and once again more suitable for a child judging by the portion size ? The bill was £35 for those three items personally that was a joke no value for money and a real disappointment overall. You know some places look lovely from the outside and inside and the food and service lets it down well this is one for sure.
