About Noor Restaurant

Noor Restaurant offers authentic Middle Eastern and North African cuisine. Our signature dishes include a deep-friend golden pompano dish, kabab dishes (including whole or minced lamb or chicken), hummus, lamb shank, and hearty stews. This comfortable and unassuming restaurant opened in 2011 and is family owned and operated. The language spoken at Noor is simply "food". English may come in short supply at times, but that will not keep you from feeling welcome or at home. No matter what languages you hear around you, rest assured that you will enjoy yourself and be taken care of throughout your dining experience at Noor. The meats and chicken used at Noor are halal that has been prepared locally using the utmost care and attention to detail. Additionally, Noor is prepared to service your catering needs for all your special events. Weddings, family gatherings, birthdays, anniversaries, and any other events would mix perfectly with comforting food from this exotic region of the world.

We ordered the lamb and chicken platters for takeout at our hotel. Both meals were really tasty. Service was friendly but extremely slow and we waited almost 45 minutes for our order. Also, there are no prices displayed on the menu and nothing shows up on the cash register when you pay so I asked the lady for a receipt but she told me that she canceled the print since most customers don't ask for a receipt. She just said that the 2 platters cost $30 and that's what she charged to my card.

This is not Iranian restaurant anymore. But it doesn\'t matter to me. Food was excellent . Fresh and taste wise good. Try chick with rice and it was good. Especially I think this is most economical restaurant in US.

Walked in to get some take out, they did not have a few items on the menu, and ended up leaving.

Food was good. Not spicy at all. I had lamb sandwich and my wife had chicken sandwich. Other dishes looked good so I will try those later.

The most original Iranian (persian) taste of Kabab in Salt Lake City! The price is reasonable, the owner is respectful, the place is not fancy, but very clean. Just try lamb Kobideh Kabab and lamb tikka kabab if you are curious about how an Iranian style of kabab tastes. The food is also Halal. As an originally Iranian guy, I highly recommend this place...

Had a hard time finding the place because it's towards the back of the building. The name on the restaurant was something else, but the owner said they opened recently and will be changing it to Noor soon. Food was good, but the place can be a little cleaner. Needs some improvement.
