3 stars at best. Tayyibaat used to have very good food some years ago. Perhaps they still do,but the Roast chicken wrap that I had a few days ago was bland and not worth the money paid. Their meat is still very good, tayyib.so my stars from recent experience are for the combined exp of meat and grill.

Very good food. I was there yesterday. I was not paying attention and ordered the rotisserie chicken platter. For only $14 I got an entire chicken on top of a very large plate of rice and salad. Everything tastes awesome. Very friendly staff. Would go there again. Only thing you have to keep in mind that it is inside a meat store so you get the added foot traffic passing right by you

Small joint with limited seating. Great customer service from the staff. The meat dishes are tender and moist. I recommend the rotisserie chicken and beef tikka kabob. Food taste great, definitely a must to try!

Loved the rotisserie chicken served with Rice and raita. I thought i won\'t like it because of lack of spices, but ended up loving it. Good service. You also get free tea while you are dining. Will be back soon.

Good food. Not a big menu but tastes good. It\'s not a family dining place though. I tried the rotisserie chicken and the cheese burger, both were good.

Awesome meat dishes! Really good jalapeno burger and fairly good chicken kabab on rice (nearly up there with my favorite afghan restaurants). You should also try the rotisserie chicken although I found it a bit bland. Space is very small and decor is more divey than divine, but the owners are nice and friendly. And its a part butcher shop part restaurant so you can do your halal meat shopping at the same time!

Decent food and good portions. Their jalapeño chicken burger is pretty good. Rice sometimes feels bland but overall the combo plates are good.

Very good and wholesome grilled halal food. The whole chicken platter, beef kabob plated and double cheeseburgers that we tried were all excellent. This place is definitely one of the top joints for good quality halal food in the Bay Area.

I usually get my meat from here. I love the marinated chicken. But just to be clear on one thing, the guys don't know their cuts of meat. They cut meat the desi way, as if they are cutting chicken for kabobs or biryani. Make sure you clarify your cuts with them.

One of m favorite "hole in the wall" places. Food is fresh and tastes great. I also bought some steaks for grilling at home and they were the best halal steaks i have purchased anywhere. They turned out real good.

The food here was pretty good. I called before coming, and the person was nice enough to tell me what they don't have available from their menu today without asking (really just one item). Found the place to be pretty clean, but it is a little small.

Wow! I just walked In with my family and We were completely ignored... For a good 5 minutes and not by Just one person but by all staff members. Then when we were about to order there was no Mexican food. Although the person was friendly we decided not to spend our money here. Definitely will not return.

I ordered the Chicken Kabobs and it came with a solid heap of rice, salad and a piece of Afghan bread. Overall, the food the very good. Little on the bland the side for my taste, but very good nonetheless. However, having the meat shop in the same place is a turn-off. It's very clean and hygenic and they do a decent job of keeping the smell of raw meat to a minimum, but irrespective, it still pervades the place. Hopefully, IA, as their business grows, they can separate out the two and have a nice sit-in restaurant. You can carry-out obviously, but it would be nice to enjoy the hot kabobs right there.

I come and get my meat from here regularly. Though their are other Halal shops around where I live- I prefer Tayyibaat because my family and I are very cautious of Halal meat & they are more than trustworthy! They don't mind answering all of our questions as far as where they get their Meat supplies from. The Tayyibaat staff is very sincere and friendly. When we walked in the first time the whole staff was getting ready to pray and my husband joined them. It was very comforting to see where their priorities are. And there delicious Kabobs are just a huge bonus on the side!

After Hearing about this place over and over from my friends i wanted to go check it out, then when i heard some sisters talking about it in the masjid i decided to take the kids and go try it and i have to say it is worth Raveing about the Kabobs are absolutly delicious we have since gone back many times and have tried every thing on the menu. though its a 25 minute drive its well worth the trip. the customer service is very friendly and the place is always clean.the prices are fair not cheap but definatly not expensive. I just wish they had a bigger seating area so that we can take friends and relatives.

My husband and I enjoy eating here. I had the burrito once which was decent but we come here mostly for the kabobs. The portions are just right and the kabos are well seasoned. My only two complaints are that it takes a loooong time before you get your order and the close pretty early. 8pm is when most of us are just starting to have dinner!

I am very disappointed to write a negative review for this place as I used to enjoy going there but for the past last 3 visits is been dissapointing every visit there was some kind of issue. In Ramadan we ordered food to go for Iftar for 6 people & was very disappointed when we got home to see that they messed up our order food was missing yet we didn't complain. 2nd time we were told they changed their hours & we didn't get the chance to eat after driving there for 45 miles So we went to Fremont & spend our $$$ there. 3rd time we got there early BUT they were OUT of Chicken & the guy said it will take 1hr for order to be ready :( don't know if we will go back after this!

This place is one of the best Zabihah places in the Bay Area. The food is excellent and tasty (with lots of options to choice from). The prices are really low and affordable (I had 2 tacos, a soda with unlimited refills and a Baklava for under $6 !). The service is top of the line as the staff really knows what customer service is. I will definitely return here inshallah and if you haven't already been here you are missing out. They also have a Zabihah meat shop inside and sell Fresh Zabihah meat as well.

Amazing food and even better service. I had the Beef Tikka during my visit and I can honestly say that it was the best beef tikka that I have had outside of Pakistan. The beef was of exceptional quality and the preperation was equally impressive. The brothers behind the counter, especially Brother Hamza made me feel welcome and treated me as a guest rather than just another customer. This was my only trip to the Silicon Valley area and just this dining experience alone makes me want to return soon inshaAllah.

We came just as they were closing and they stayed open just for us. We ordered several types of kebabs (ground and cube, chicken, lamb, and beef) and found them all very fresh-tasting and succulent. The food came with a lot of rice and salad, as well as a mint sauce. The staff were exceedingly generous and polite and clearly very pious. As a bonus, we did our weekly shopping for meat from the counter at the back.

My family and I visited this restaurant for dinner and were happy to find that all the buzz about this place is true. We ordered the Chicken Chili Kabob, the Lamb Tikka Kabob, a Chile Chicken Wrap and some Chicken Wings (original). All the dishes were very good. The meat was fresh and well marinated. It was cooked thoroughly and presented very well, on a bed of rice, with salad on the side and a piece of bread on top. The wings were also surprisingly good. Usually restaurants will smother wings with tabasco sauce, but these wings had something a little different. The place was clean and the service was fast and courteous. The brothers working the place were very polite and friendly. When we entered the place, some of the brothers were praying maghrib prayers right behind the counter, which was a great site to see. Highly recommended.

Great food, second to none in their category! - Halal and fresh ingredients (they really live up to their name) - Grilled with care to bring out the flavor - Just the right extras to go with the food (the special salad and dressing were flavorfull indeed) - Very generous serving size at a great price - Spotless clean! I've tried many Afghani/Persian restaurants, trust me, all you grilled food lovers won't be disappointed!

Second visit in a month by us. Both times we enjoyed and came back with tasty memories. The Lamb Tikka is the dish to order. We also got the various Chillis Kabas (chicken, lamb, beef). All dishes were with serving of rice, veg-salad and bread. I think they and the dishes were Afghan style. If we are there on a visit, we will also try the rotisserie grilled chicken. The prices are on moderately high side. But servings were large. The seating is ideal for groups of upto 4. We had to play table blocks game to make room for 5. Maybe we liked the food, because both time we were there on cold rainy evenings.

If my family is ever in the Bay (from Sac) we come here. Totally out of the way, but 100% worth it. The meat is fresh, the staff is so honest and very trustworthy...now that the deli in in place, we can't wait to eat there. I wish all halal butchers were like these brothers.

Great place mashaAllah. The cleanest meat shop I've ever been to, with really good meat, and great customer service. I have a lot of halal meat places near my house, but I prefer this one. All the meat is really fresh, and they have pre-marinated meat too. Not only that but the restaurant they have on side has some delicious food=)
