Shalimar in Latham, NY offers authentic and delicious Pakistani and Indian cuisine. We use the freshest ingredients to create a tasty meal to satisfy your craving for native Pakistani and Indian dishes. For meat lovers, we have lamb kabobs or curry. If eating meat is not in your alley, we also have a line of dishes made especially for vegetarians such as Vegetable Korma, a dish of mixed vegetables cooked in cream sauce, or Palak Aloo which is chicken peas and potatoes in delicious sauce. As the previous user said, this is not a Pakistani restaurant. It is an indian/bangali restaurant. Food is below average. Very disappointed.

This is not a Pakistani restaurant, it is a typical Bengali restaurant. Food has no Pakistani taste. I was travelling from Canada to Pittsfield, MA and had a lunch buffet here. Owner was so rude to told me that I only have 10 min to fill my plate before he takes the buffet dishes off. Naan was very crispy and hard. I will not recommend this place if you like to eat Pakistani food.

This is the first ever review that I am doing for Zabihah, and I am more than delighted to do this. I went there and tried their "Malai Ajwaini Tikka" from their "Chicken Specialties" and I have to give them 10/10 for that dish. Excellently cooked, nicely served and great people over all. I am 100% confident that you will like it too. The place is very well managed and very well organized and neat and clean. Will definitely come back one more time.

The harshest food critic has come to Shalimar to review their new restaurant. The food at Shalimar is made with high quality at high consistency. The prices are quite reasonable, and the buffet spread is impressive. This store has already appealed local patrons as well as members of the corporate world such as GE. I've seen both Muslim and Non-Muslim customers sigh in ecstasy after having an unforgettably satisfying $7.00 lunch buffet. I'm happy I came here and will come more often! BTW The staff remain very humble when you give them compliments :P
