About Zaitoon Kitchen

Zaitoon Kitchen is an Afghan culinary brand with a flavorful and healthy fast-casual restaurant experience featuring halal kabobs, naan wraps, and salads. Our restaurant is the brainchild of an Afghan couple that immigrated to the United States but kept roots in their beloved country. Raising seven kids in this great country and owning multiple restaurants in the NYC area. The father and two sons decided to spread their mother's kitchen in a modern casual way.

Above average ambiance and cleanliness for a halal restaurant. But the food has started to taste more “Greek” and less Middle Eastern. The seasoning is just not there.

amazing food, I would highly recommend the lamb chops with the mint yogurt drink. If it\'s cold out side and you want to worm up with a cup of tea I would also recommend the biscuit cake.

Excellent trendy restaurant close to the masjid. Has seating for roughly 25 people. This is a made to order type of restaurant. You can choose your protein, then choose to have it over rice, or over salad, or in a wrap. The food came out really flavorful. We had a very large group that ordered everything from the masala fries, the lamb salad, chicken breast over rice to some Badenjan Borani. Everything was cooked to perfection. This has the makings of a franchise. Very modern design and great decor. Not your run of the mill restaurant. Looks like a potential concept
