The Kentucky Fried Chicken concept was introduced to Britain in 1965 when the first store opened in Preston. KFC is running a halal trial a small number of stores in the London area, having worked with the Halal Food Authority (HFA) to understand the requirements involved in supplying and producing halal approved products. HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Koran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

KFC is usually our go-to fast food place, but every visit to this branch seems to end in disappointment. This time, 45 minutes after ordering at the drive-thru, we were given the wrong food, then had to prove it using the app before staff would accept the mistake. Our drinks were also forgotten, the order was closed off, and after another wait I had to get out of the car and walk to the window to collect the correction. No sauces. No napkins. Unfortunately, this isn't a one-off. We regularly find items missing, sauces we've paid for forgotten, and issues handled poorly when we try to raise them. We understand places get busy, but the customer service is consistently lacking. It's a shame because this is our nearest KFC, but after so many disappointing visits we might finally switch to Pepe's instead.
I visit this KFC quite frequently as it’s near my house. The place is usually clean and quiet, food is fresh and hot, and Jas is always friendly and helpful.

I don’t really like to post negative reviews however this can not go unnoticed. I had a really disappointing experience at this KFC. The staff member who served me was extremely rude and seemed to have no basic manners. There was no greeting, no politeness, and he acted like serving customers was a huge inconvenience. I understand people have bad days, but basic respect and customer service should still be expected when you’re dealing with the public. The attitude completely ruined the experience. Don’t visit this KFC if you want to leave in a bad mood
The worst kfc branch in the world! The staff got no manners at all with customers even with delivery drivers. I wish they change staff members and manager. They’re so rude and impolite. They do not wear gloves they touching food with their hands, no hygiene. Today we bought burgers and drinks. the drinks got a weird taste, it taste like tap water, (those who can notice the slightest change in the water’s taste can understand), I believe they’re not changing the filters or something makes the water’s taste bad. Also, in previous purchases, we noticed the burger bun and chicken weren’t fresh, especially the buns. On top the bad quality, the staff (especially the asian) and manager’s attitude is unbearable. The way they talk and treatment is extremely rude. I wish the area manager do something for real and stop overlooking their attitude and the customers’ feedback. I believe we’re paying money for food and service and we’re receiving nothing in return.
