National Halal Meat Centre own a counter here and they are HMC approved. The meat looks lovely, reasonably priced and a huge variety from fresh cuts to slices, sausages, pies

I shop in Asda on a regular basis, however it will be some time before I come back to the Small Heath store. Friday afternoon only 2 manned tills open and queues up the aisle closest to the till were so long they were almost at the centre aisle! I queued for over 15 minutes before I got anywhere near the till. I must state that it is not the cashiers fault that the time waiting is so long, they work as hard and quickly as they can!!!!. My husband went to customer services to ask for more tills to be opened but the person manning the counter did not seem concerned. As i have stated I shop here regularly and have done since the store first opened but will not rush back now.
