I enjoyed the the Chop Shop burger AND the 10 chicken burger. Service was amazing and so was the atmosphere. Makes sure to check out my YouTube Channel-HALAL DIGEST for full review. Can\'t wait to go back!
Good halva pouri. That was the only thing I\'ve tried here.
My husband and I went here for iftar, and we could immediately see its popularity. Many customers were clearly regulars. We enjoyed the mixed chaat, and my husband's buffalo chicken burger was delicious. I did not like my hunter beef sandwich, regretfully, but there were many other tempting choices on the menu, such as the wings and fresh juices. I would happily return again to try the other food. It was too busy during Ramadan, so I would probably go during a different month. Please note the restaurant hours were different during Ramadan.
Masala in the burger? Automatic fail!
Slightly on the pricy side for a place where you are cramped and eating out of paper plates. But then you get the food and it all goes out the window. The dhaga kabab is great. But super spicy.
VERY EXPENSIVE. Food quantity was low. Customer Service was horrible. Took too long to make food. The quality of the food was OK (not very good). Expect to pay $60 for food which you may pay $35 elsewhere.

Halal zabiha as confirmed by the resturant manager. Nice food and excellent gesture and service from the restaurant manager and staff
Food was good ....so far I have tried bihari boti roll , dal chawal with qeema .Ambience is not good but still I would recommend this place .
The cafe is amazing! The BBQ chicken strip melt is amazing. I wish I lived closer because I would come here every day. I definitely recommend everyone to go to the cafe!
Spicy food with authentic flavors imported straight from the subcontinent. Food was freshly prepared and curry portions were pretty generous. Try the doodh patti chai, a welcome and great accompaniment for the spice. Will return to Bismillah
Went here for the first time while visiting the area. Found the food to be very lacking in taste and quality. Also, the service was horrible with grown family members horsing around all over. Usually if a place is lacking in one area they make up for it in another, not here.
Went for Halwa puri on Saturday , no aloo in choley , halwa extremely sweat , poor air conditioning , most likely will not go back there again.
Although the taste is Pakistani still I think they so many chillies in the food which is too much for me
My husband and I go to this place on the weekends for brunch. Their puri halwa is good, but I feel dilpasands is better. But their paratha is AMAZING... I doubt you can find better parathas in houston. I get their omelet, which i prefer without green chilies. wonderful with a cup of chai. Service is fast and nice, and the place is not so bad. Family friendly indeed. Have not tried their dinner items.
Their bun kabab and paratha rolls are really good. Their parathas are very soft and taste home made.
The masala is the worst ever the service is terrible and the place also is mess . It was the first and the last time we had been there.
Went to this place around 9:30pm after shopping thinking if it claims to be open 24hrs on this site, then it must be open. The restaurant was closing when we got there but since there were other customers in there, the lady said we could also dine in. We ordered the roti kababs and aloo palak. Aloo palak seemed a bit pricey a la carte. Hubby said it was good though. It had a very homemade taste and the rotis were also very good. Not too thin, not too thick, and the perfect size. The kabab rolls were really good. The kids ate them up. Even though they gave us chutney on the side, the "mild" kababs still seemed a bit spicey. Service was pretty quick too which was nice.
Their karahi GOSHT and parathas are very good
Excellent bun kabab, good samosa's
Food is good but customer service is poor.
the food could be too spicy for someone else's liking, but i love the food especially the bun kabab. thir fish is really good as well.
Good food, economical prices, and great desi fast food. We had samosas, beef bun kabab, mix chaat, and tea. Everything was tasty and fresh especially the bun kabab. It tasted like the bun kabab you would get in Pakistan, with the green chutney and all. The guy at the counter was helpful and courteous, something missing at many desi places. Will go there again on my next visit to Houston.
Went for iftar. Ordered gole kabab, tawwa mutton, paratha and rice. The gole kabab had completely disintegrated by the time I received it, looked just like qeemah to me. Was tasty, but not quite what I had in mind. The mutton tawwa was good. The paratha was good too. The guy behind the counter was friendly. Chicken samoze were excellent.
The food wasn't very bad. But it wasn't good either. For all that hype from everyone who's written the reviews....It's no where close to the ratings people have given this restaurant. Perhaps, they are all relatives of the owner! Staff (perhaps the owners daughters) wasn't friendly either. They also have their other restaurant (w/ same name) in the same strip mall that serves "Chats". The food was okay. I presume the guy there was the owner's son. He was making fun of some girls along with his friends while other customers were seated. It was ironic to note that he has 2 sisters who are manning their other place and what if someone did the same to his sisters. For all that hype in their name (Bismillah), they did not live up to their name. I wouldn't go back again to this restaurant.
Great spicy food! The chicken samosa's are SUPER GOOD! The chicken boti rolls are great 'to go' food! Recently updated inside........warning....the door swings hard!
Good food experience every time i visit this location. I love their Anda Paratha and Tawa Gosht. Prices have gone a little up in recent times but so have of everyday's groceries. Gola kabob was a bit spicy but over all excellent food.
we go there on sundays for halwa puri but man its pricey and they keeping raising the prices of everything else on the menu its good tasty homestyle cooking and good customer service,i love the aunty there she is gentle and keeps giving us dua and keeps offering the sweetest advise. all in all its a good place but we dont go there for anything except sunday breakfast cuz apart from that everyting else i cook pretty well at home and their homestyle cooking is something i dont feel like spending on once i leave my house for some something different. their chainak chai is yummy
If you are looking for some home cooked delicious food, this is the place. A bit over the pricey side and tad low on service ...
tasty food but super expensive -___-
Food is ok on the average side. On a busy day its quite tight and hard to move around people in there. Me personally for eating on paper plates and serving myself and paying the same cost for a dish as a full service restaurant, not really worth it, espeically with other full service and more comfortable seating restaurants across the street.
not to clean food was ok
Terrible Customer Service. Food is very very expensive. Counter lady and the man both are rude.Place is small. I have to admit that food is tasty buy very expensive.
Expensive, over spiced food is not the way to go. The keema felt like a raging plate of fire. I needed a packet of sugar so that my throat would calm down. The rotis were strange, the owner unfriendly. Food here has gone down over the years, since I've been trying the food here, every year for the past 3 years. Bad bad, and their Bun Kebabs from their chat centre next door were just as bad. Flavourless mush.
This is a good restaurant, most of the chefs are pakistani girls/women in the kitchen. Food quality was good, we ate chilken karahi which had the killer desi touch in it, pretty spicy though. They would give disposable plates/glasses which spill and make mess on your table. Otherwise good for carryout. It was a girl on country, she need not to be frightened on hot seat and should try to smile a little.
We've gone to bismillah before, and the food was decent, i've always had their bun kababs, and still think they're the best in Houston, except what my mom makes...We had the tawa gosht today, as it was good last time we ate it. but this time around it was so freaking spicy, not too tasty, and barely had any meat, most of it was bones. I asked if they had chicken nuggets for my son and the man was adamant that I should give him paratha instead, and then he told me to take him to the bismillah chat place and eat bun kabab there, i didnt understand what he was trying to tell me. Then we wanted extra raita and they wanted to charge us more. I've been there before and the girls that work at the counter are nicer than the older man. i don't think i'm gonna ever eat in again, I might get take out, but only for the bun kabab.
food is good, there is no service at all... Owners are nice, but also rude and cocky at the same time. place needs to work on attitude, and maybe the food might taste somewhat better.
Very good halwa puri. I would definitely recommend coming back to this place again and again
just time pass no tasty food ,service was so so
We went there on 2 different days, first was for Breakfast. We tried Bun Kabab, THE BEST... Then we ordered parathas with Gol Kabab, we really enjoyed it as well. Next day we ordered Paratha with Tawa Chicken, it was tasty. Also got paratha chicken roll, it was good too. Over all, their items taste good and not too spicy either. Would go there again for sure.
This restaurant is a bit pricy, however it's worth it. Every thing in this restaurant is sooo declious..the qeema and roti and even the kabab.....i have only been in this town for less than 2 years and this is the best one yet!
went here yesterday, chicken masala is ok, bun kabab is a little greasy, you have to serve yourself.
I registered on Zabihah.com just so I could specifically leave a review for this restaurant. I have never encountered worse customer service in my life. My husband and I ordered take out, only to get home and see they forgot to give us one of our dishes. I called and the woman said to come pick it up after a couple days. When I called the restaurant to let them know we were going to pick it up, the man refused to honor the commitment. He said he had no way of verifying if I was telling the truth, and if I wanted it I would have to pay for it. So basically I was cheated out of food and was called a liar. Nice.
Excellent place for pakistani food. Great tea, kabab, parathas, chicken tawa and the famous bun kabab. This place is a must go!
Love their seekh kababs, they are the juicest and always so pefect, not too spicy, not too bland! Their halwa puri breakfast is good too, and the prices rock!
There is no doubt that this is a great place for break fast. We had very good break fast with nice portion of food and very reasonably priced. Service was quick and quality was surerbp. Top of that they have cleanest rest rooms in any desi restaurants I ever went.
This is a great little restaurant if you like home cooked food. We go there every weekend for the halwa puri and paratha omelette. Everything we have tried has been wonderful especially karahi ghost and bhunna ghost. The place is simple, clean enough and has a small seating area. I have found the staff to be very friendly. One of the best Pakistani restaurants in Houston.
Great food bad attitude. Reminded me of "THE SOUP NAZI" (from Sienfeld). The owner needs to work on his people skills. Does not need to frown all the time, it just leaves a bad taste in ones mouth. Puris and Parathas are the best in Houston. If you go on a Sunday, make sure you can wait 30 to 45 minutes before you get served.
This place somehow has food that so much feels like home cooked, unless it's the greasiness of the meal, which of course is not a plus, but well, like me, if you prefer taste over artery clogging, it's your place! Parathas are awesome! Not much space inside to sit, so I've had to do a take-home.
Excellent food, terrible customer service. Must work on their customer service skills. Restaurant staff behind the counter should try greeting their customers with Salam and little bit of courtesy.
Clean restaurant, nice people, adn tasty food served quickly. Simple dishes, some of the gravies are too oily.
Ordered the bun kabob and kabab roll. The bun kabob was okay, a little greasy. The kabab roll had too much meat.
home cooking is right! from the simple daal chaval to the grilled talapia, i've found everything I've tried there thus far to be finger-licken good. new location is definitely a plus.
excellent food....beautiful new location and the cleanest desi restaurant in houston.
there food is like home made food so taste very good. i love their gola kabab but expensive.
excellent food friently atmosphere all good do go
I found Bismillah to be one of the best and cheapest restaurants in town. If you have the urge to have a great breakfast over the weekends, Bismillah is the place to be. From Halwa puri to Qeema Paratha to Anda Paratha, every item is a treat. Their Bun Kebab will remind you of pakistan, they are simply awesome. I strongly recommend this place. This is a hole in the wall kinda place so dont expect a rich ambience
