This resturant was so much better when it was called Mawar! Used to be less fancy

I don't know why, but the location of Melur shown on the embedded map is very wrong! The correct location is at least 4 miles to the southeast. If you click the icon MAP at the top right of the page, between MAIL and EDIT, you will be taken to another page and that displays the correct location, though. Or you could go to maps.google.com and enter the postcode yourself. Remember, Edgware Road tube station is just across Melur. If you see Cricklewood Rail station instead of Edgware Road tube, then you are probably at the wrong place...

Nice food. Nice Decor. Friendly staff. All round good experience. Highly recommended.

Dear Pak Awie and Team, Greetings from Singapore! We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to you and your wonderful team for the unforgettable dining experience we had at your restaurant during our recent trip to London. From the moment we stepped through your doors, we were welcomed not as customers, but as family. Pak Awie, your warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness made us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed listening to your stories, from your personal experiences to hearing about how your daughter started baking. These conversations added such a personal touch to our meals and created memories that we will cherish for a long time. The food was simply impeccable. Every dish was prepared with so much love and care, and each bite tasted like home. While everything we tried was absolutely delicious, the Nasi Kandar stood out as one of the best dishes we have ever had. The flavours were rich, authentic, and comforting. The drinks were equally amazing—refreshing, satisfying, and the perfect complement to every meal. We would also like to commend your wonderful team. The young gentleman from Johor was exceptionally friendly, kind, and thoughtful. He regularly checked on us, ensuring that we were enjoying our meals and making us feel truly welcomed. During our subsequent visit, we were served by another gentleman who was equally warm, attentive, and professional. It is evident that your restaurant's culture of hospitality extends throughout the entire team. Looking back at our photos now, we cannot help but smile and reminisce about the wonderful meals and moments shared at your restaurant. To anyone visiting London, we would wholeheartedly recommend making a trip to your restaurant. In fact, if we ever return to London, one of the main reasons would be to enjoy your food again. We would also like to sincerely apologise for not being able to attend your Hari Raya buffet after being kindly invited. Unfortunately, we were caught up with other pre-arranged itineraries and could not make it. Nevertheless, we are certain that it was a tremendous success, and we hope everyone had a wonderful celebration. Thank you as well for the incredible Kuih Putri Salat that you shared with us on our last evening. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect way to end our visit. We are already looking forward to our next trip and hope that we will finally get the chance to try your Chilli Crab, which we didn’t get to try but you later suggested the lobster haha! (I hope you remember us). Once again, thank you, Pak Awie, and thank you to your entire team for your exceptional hospitality, outstanding food, and the warmth that made us feel like part of your family.
