Excellent steak. Spicy steak sauce is the best.

Excellent food! The whole family enjoyed it, we had the fillet, the cheeseburger, chicken burger- all very good.

after seeing the advert on islam channel me and wife decided to visited steakout for iftar, and i must confess it was very good. they are listed on the hmc website and have hmc certifacates so no question if halal or not mashallah.

Excellent steak - go for the beef fillet (well done) with peppercorn sauce. For chicken lovers, the chicken steak also looked really tasty. Chips could be fresher.

The most amazing steak I've ever eaten. Get a fillet steak med-well done and you won't be disappointed. That said the chips could be slightly better.

Not being HMC approved does not mean they are not Halal. I have been a regular customer at steakout for the past year and a half, and the first thing I asked before I ordered my first meal was "are you HMC approved?"? I was told "no" but the manager kindly took me to the kitchen and showed me all the unprepared meat still in the packaging with a halal stamp on it and I was shown a Halal certificate from there supplier, so from this I was happy enough to eat there as they have proved to me that it is halal. Making a phone call to enquire about their meat is not going to get you nowhere, as you're only going to speak to workers, and there's other companies trying to copy there concept, so obviously they are going to be sceptical about telling anyone over the phone who their supplier is, my opinion is: go to the branch and ask someone with authority to prove that the meat they are getting is Halal. What makes me laugh is everyone eats at Nando's when HMC have said: HMC has a strict criteria in that we not allow the stunning, prior to Dhabh, of any animal for our certification process and *Freemans, the supplier of chicken to Nando's, administer stunning to the chicken before Dhabh, a fact freely admitted by both themselves and Nandos. This was the case in 2005 and in our knowledge it is still the same to this present day, and Allah knows best.

Stay away these guys are deceiving! I phoned up to enquire regarding their meat supplier because they're not on the HMC site and was told their suppliers are HMC approved. I asked for a name and number to confirm and they are supplied by British Premium Meats! Who stun their meat and is the complete opposite to what HMC stands for, very misleading and upset at the dishonesty shown.

Finally a halal place serving authentic steak! Very pleasant restauran and staff. We have been going here for Eid and other big group events. Fillet steak is delicious, while t-bone is for the slightly hungrier person! The Lamb or chicken mushroom pies are AMAZING. Service is generally good, although you may have to wait a while during the busier evening periods. We paid £20 per head for starters, steak and drink...i also got the Lamb pie! (greedy me!) Great little steak place for all those that have drooled over Aberdeen Steak Houses and Smollenskeys! Food is quality, prices are decent, service is good, try and catch the lunch time deals!

The steak is probably among the top but they definitely could do better , i have a issues with their service as i ended getting my starters after the main course of steak, which did not impress me

Went to Steakout recently and was very disappointed with the service and quality of steak. Been here a couple of times before in the evening for dinner but decided to take advantage of a lunch time special that they have. The experience was not pleasant; Staff not very attentive so had to be called in each instance, I got scolded for changing my baby's nappy/diaper that I did discretely in a corner of the restaurant floor as they have no baby changing facilities; both highchairs were broken but I was offered a booster seat; starters were great but the main course meat was cheap, don't know if it was because we ordered the 'lunchtime special'? We didn't even get a 'thank you goodbye' even though we had left a tip! I had been raving about this place as well but not sure I would recommend anymore. If they cannot impress their customers when they're quiet, not sure I want to chance another visit with friends.

Just had dinner here tonight, was truelly yummy and the service was amazing, my mum was unhappy with her steak and they changed it straight away. Truelly yummy steaks and real good service will definately be back soon!

Really nice steak (and some pies) restaurant in Norbury. I've tried the steak when I've been with a number of different sauces that they pour on top (literally) of the steak. The steak was pretty well cooked, although I asked for medium-rare and it was cooked well above that. The sauces are okay too, but the flavour seems to be a little lacking particularly in the garlic sauce. The sides (fries/mashed potatoes, etc.) are of a healthy size too. I wonder a little about serving it all in the sizzler, which tends to overcook the meat and burn the sauce but nothing too bad. The service is good. Staff are friendly, you don't have to remind anyone of any orders and things are served pretty quickly. The price pretty standard for a steak place, and all the meat is HMC approved too. Edit: Went again 28/02 - very tasty. Huge steak, great service, excellent all around. 5*.

You have to try this place to belive it. Amazaing authetic steaks with mouth watersing sauces. I thought the cook had to either be a South African Brai expert or an American Rancher.

This is a very good restaurant, food and service are excellent. All meat is HMC approved, I have been here 4 times already. It's great for friends and or family. Top Marks.

Went to this newly opened steakhouse in South London as loads of my friends have recommended it highly and I know the owner through work. Top quality food with a good selection of items to choose from. The steaks come in three varieties and there is a selection of sauces to go with the steak. This place serves quality food and I would highly reccomend a vist particularly if you are a meat lover, although vegetarian items are also available. All in all a very nice place. I am already looking forward to my next visit!
