Excellent food at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Authentic halal chinese restaurants are rare in South London so I was pleased to discover Wok's Cooking. The food is a cut above regular chinese fair. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes tasty. The staff are friendly and the menu is strictly halal. No alcohol is allowed and prayer facilities are available. Overall a great restaurant - and right next to Steakout if you fancy a halal t-bone instead!
The worst madras of my life. The whole curry is swimming in water. There was absolutely no flavour or spice. The pilau rice was white in colour and seemed as though it had been microwaved and to top it of the cheese naan lacked cheese but that's okay as the dryness made up for that. I called the restaurant and was offered a replacement so I opted for a chicken tikka as I did not want to risk a curry and was told it will be ready in 10 minutes. It actually took over 45 minutes and when I asked what was taking so long I was told that they burned the first attempt. Upon collecting the food it was literally just grilled cubes of chicken on top of Onion (that being the one thing that I asked them to leave out) no mint yoghurt dressing or salad. I wouldn't even recommend it to the man that rear ended me and drove straight off.
