I used to always reccomend wearing sunglases whilst in Mirch Masala so that you wouldnt see the Interior as it was so horribe and ghastly, with horrid grey carpets, red walls, tube lights and cheap brown tables from the eighties...... however the food was AWSOME! Much better than the East London Branch and it had the best Lamb Chops i have had in ages too! Now returning after a year i am amazed and speachless, not only has the resturant expanded into the nextdoor shop but it has had a complete overhal making it.....NICE conclusion...food is excellent (in particular the lamb chops)...Resturant has a good capacity, newly refurbished too...Price is cheap too....only one let down.....service is not that great at busy times....almost 5/5 (now where did i put the reciept for those rayban sunglases)

This is a nice restaurant that serves mainly Punjabi food, and as usual beware of some varying levels of service that comes with such establishments. The food is of the regular sort you get in these places, so not worth going into depth about. The decor is okay but nothing spectacular, and booking is advisable on busy weekend nights (although past experience tells me this does not guarantee a table!) Overall a nice place but the service is lacking.
