Love the maple leaf halal chicken hit dogs. I never had problems w the halal stuff. U can find halal yogort and labne in dairy section.

Al-Safa and Canadian Maple Leaf are the WORST products. We found Al-Safa hot-dogs at food basics that were dated from back in 2007 and still sitting in the freezer (we notified the manager and he kept apoligizing). They each have a different color - one worse than the other. Chicken burgers and buggets taste like rubber and the meat taste like worn out tires. No kidding. Their stuff doesnt look healthy at all. Pizza's are allright but not worth it.

Was the first major grocer in Barrhaven that started selling halal products by Al-Safa and halal hot dog by Canadian Maple Leaf!
