The Baker is a family-run business with a deep passion for food, but we can't mention The baker family without recognizing Yousuf Al Tellawi. A man who made this store happen. Yousuf is the man behind the scenes that sacrificed everything to launch The Baker and help it grow. If you visit us at The Baker, you will not help but notice the positive energy of our owner; Omar Al Tellawi (Yousuf's son). Omar has been involved in the catering business for over 25 years. After studying hotel management, Omar moved to Montreal where he learnt Western cooking techniques, and rapidly gained experience before getting promoted to head chef.

Finally we've meat pie in Barrhaven! My son is a picky eater but he loves there meat pie.

I don't recommend the meat pie. Even my kids wont eat it. The spinach triangle pie barely has spinach. I do recommend the spinach w seseme. It's yummy. (rectangle shape).

Bran New Halal bakery in the Barrhaven Area, specializing in Halal Middle Eastern Meat/Cheese/Zaatar/sudjok Pies. I had 2 cheese and 2 meats. Perfectly made and done. One might want to come earlier than usual before the meat ones ones run out.

Would return
