This restaurant is very popular with the mainly South Asian community but is also frequented by the Carribean and the Hakka communities. Food can be very spicy and can be greasy at times with the Chilli Chicken being the most popular along with others.

Not Halal, No Certification displayed. I know some muslims don't like to investigate if place is really serving halal food or not. So to some as long as it say halal it does not matter to them however these hakka places are NOT serving halal meat, unless they have certification. I know Hakka Masala at Midland and Lawrence has HMA certification so since I have a choice I do not eat at these other places who don't care about my belief.
Soooooo good. I go there ones in a month for sure. Lemon chicken is the best.
Food quality and Taste have gone down drastically. Went to the marksmen location. What a joke food was tasteless. Service was terrible. What happened your Bellamy location was the bomb. That's what happens. Competition! Not enough atone attention to your customers.
ok food...not that great..chicken chowmein seems like boiled yellow noodles...
ASA, The food was ok not bad but not great either. We paid a slight premium when comparing to other similar resturansts. Would be willing to give it another try. Could just be an isolated incident. Staff was extremely courtous and friendly.
Very delicious food, except for fried chicken wonton, never order that, you get like a miniature piece of chicken in it, i have taken its picture for people to see, im not sure if i can post it here. Amazing chicken fried rice and chilly chicken. sweetcorn chicken soup and chicken pakodas are delicious too. Family restaurant with bright room. Service can be very slow though. We had to wait for 1 hour before we had our food, apparently the waiter forgot my order. Debit card payments not accepted. You either pay by cash or VISA only. To use VISA, your bill has to be above $25. All tables are extremely close to each other. You feel like you and your neighbour are sitting on one table itself.
I don't understand why muslims go here..if you are Deeni and truly care about halal/haram then stay away from restaurants that sell liqour. because if the owner of the restaurant is comprimising between halal and alcohol then he doesn't care much about what Muslims want(which is 100% halal food no ifs and buts)Don't fool yourselves.
ths place is not as good as it used to be...both the service and the quality of the food has gone down compared to a few yrs back...avg at best now...3 stars
Assalamualaikum, I have not been to this restaurant in a long time but there has been some speculation whether they still server halal so just call and check with them. No doubt, it is an exceptional restaurant.
As-Salaamu alaikum ya ikhwan wa ikhwat. The owners are Malaysian I think, wallahu aalem. The chicken fried rice is exceptional, as is pretty much any of their chicken dishes. This place is near UTSC in Scarborough so you sometimes see students there. It is jam-packed on Friday night and Saturday night, from what I have seen. Prices are not bad if you share portions with each other. It's the kind of restaurant where you can order a bunch of dishes as a group and share the food. They also offer take out.
We visited this Chinese restaurant for dinner today as a group of five and ordered chili chicken, Manchurian fish, mixed fried rice, chicken noodles, and mixed vegetables. While the food quality was good and we generally liked the taste, the overall dining experience was badly affected by poor customer service from one of the servers, Samip. When we were ready to place our order, several staff members were standing together, busy on their phones and talking among themselves, without paying attention to customers. We had to call them multiple times (around five times) and finally had to raise our voices just to get someone’s attention. Eventually, Samip came to our table, but instead of being polite and attentive, he responded with a rude attitude. When we politely mentioned that they should be more attentive towards customers, he reacted dismissively and said, “What is it you are saying?” in a very disrespectful tone, which was quite offensive and unprofessional. Due to this behavior, we requested another staff member to take our order and asked to speak to the manager regarding the issue. The second server, Bipras, was extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He handled our order efficiently and showed excellent customer service, which we truly appreciated. Despite our complaint, Samip never came forward to apologize and continued to display an indifferent attitude, which further spoiled our dining experience. Good food alone is not enough — customers also expect respectful and professional service. People spend their money not only for food but for the complete dining experience. I strongly recommend that management take such incidents seriously and ensure proper staff training and accountability, so that situations like this do not damage the restaurant’s reputation in the future.
