Mediterranean Market

Great clean store that has a monopoly on specialty foods in the area. No one else can match their selection of deli meats, premade meat and kibbeh mixes, tobacco, and imported cheeses (located both in the deli and in the fridge). Prices are very high for meat probably because they sell grass fed or something like that. I only come here when I need some specialty item.

Best supermarket I've ever been too. Better then non muslim supermarkets. Believe it or not a muslim supermarket that's actually clean and organized!

Just like the rest of the reviews - this place is AMAZING! They're well stocked, exceptionally clean, great service, all kinds of meats and our family favorite the cold cuts! They now even have corned beef! Don't forget to try their meat pies, we've never brought one home...that's because they get gobbled down as soon as we get in the car!

I've been coming to this store under its new management, Abu Haitham. Critically, the butcher has stayed with the store, and the meat department is still excellent. The only (disappointing) change is that they now sell a wide variety of cigarettes; however, this place is still the best halal butcher and store in the Western Suburbs as far as I'm concerned.

On behalf of the previous owners of Mediterranean Plus we would like to thank all of our customers for their support but due to the health of the previous owner my family was inclined to sell the store. WALLAHI, THIS STORE IS AMAZING. The owner used to have a store on the South Side and decided to open up on this Strip near the mosque. It is clear that he knows what he is doing. Virtually everything that an Arab kitchen would need (and a lot that a Desi kitchen would need, for that matter) is now within the grasp of the Western suburbs. The meat department is well stocked with not just beef and (Crescent) chicken, but lots of lamb. I can't even describe how well stocked and organized this place is without falling all over myself. I now have no need to go to any other Zabihah butcher or ethnic grocer. Now if I could only cook...
